  • Hey star! :D I have a belated #inasentence delivery for you! I was looking through my 2021 NaPo in anticipation of this year's very quickly approaching NaPo? neverrrrrrr and I found a couple of lines which I felt like match your celestial & chaotic vibes quite well (and your wall aesthetic, too) :')

    6) Freckles are constellations that ride on goosebumps - perhaps i'd find they form the outline of a goose if i could be bothered to pay enough attention.

I hope you're having a sparkly day! I'd love to chat and cause some chaos with you sometime soon <3 <3

starlitmind OMGGGGGGG this is so cute, and I love how you kept the number six in the line so it just feels, I don't know, handpicked? idk xD
BUT OMG I love this part of your poem so much!!!! freckles and geese, what more could I ask for? :") THIS IS SO VERY PERFECT, thank you so much, I really do love it ^_^ <33

AND OMG yes I am always down for chaos you know HEHE, would love to talk and write more poemgranites with you soon <333

Calling all writers! Have you ever gotten a review that made you go "ooh!" with a new idea, or that brought some super-helpful tips or a fresh perspective? Is there a reviewer who's been keeping up with all your chapters that you want to shout a million thank-yous to? Well, today you're encouraged to do exactly that! (Okay, perhaps not exactly-- a million is a lot-- but you get the idea :P) Your challenge is to write a thank-you note to a reviewer you appreciate!
That reviewer can be someone who's reviewed one of your works, or someone you've seen around the site that you'd like to thank! And just to spice things up a little, perhaps you'd like to try writing a thank-you note from the point of view of one of your characters? ;) It's up to you how you'd like to write your thank-you note(s), but be sure to give yws's amazing reviewers all the respect and appreciation they deserve! :D

Oh, and that's not all! Is that another challenge I see?

Green Room Queries! This fine day, all ye brave ywsers are charged with the noble task of riding into the treacherous wildernesses of the Green Room and posting friendly inquiries on the works of your fellow ywsers! Ahem. In other words, find people whose works are in the Green Room and ask them questions about their works as encouragement to keep writing! Bonus points if the work's been in the Green Room for a while :D

And if you're feeling up to it, why not drop off a review as well? If you become a Knight of the Green Room, you can also earn great treasures (and fancy badges!) as you embark on/continue your reviewing journey! :]

Finally, as with the previous double challenge of #ReviewTag and #inasentence , you are absolutely welcome to participate in one or both of thank-you notes for reviewers and Green Room Queries! They'll be open all week~ ^-^

  • "The magic is only in what books say, how they stitched the patches of the universe together into one garment for us."
    - Fahrenheit 451, Ray Bradbury

I know it doesn't exactly describe you, but for some reason it reminds me of you. I have read several of your poems, and I have always been fascinated by how beautifully you portray the smallest and most insignificant of things and forever change the way in which your readers view them. Besides, I remember having a discussion with you about this book in a pad when I had first finished reading it and I loved hearing your opinions about it!

Liminality Aww thanks, RandomTalks! I really like this quote :D And yes I remember having that chat with you - that was really fun <3

  • I went quote hunting and found several books I really need to read again . . . but just two quotes I thought just -- fit. But hey, two's a company, so here we go!

@Rook: "Over time, they would fade from our minds, but for a while those essays helped keep us afloat in our new surroundings." p.113 Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro
I think this quote would fit you in general, and especially with your response to the reviewer personality quiz!

@alliyah: "Mrs. Whitaker was very tenderhearted when it came to slugs." -- from Chivalry by Neil Gaiman

This one also doubles as a stealth reading rec hehe. Chivalry is a short story by possibly my favourite childhood author? It's about an old lady who finds the Holy Grail in a charity shop and decides to take it home with her. Which draws the attention of an unexpected visitor in shining armor.

    #inasentence #socialmonth

alliyah Ah not what would I have expected, but this is super sweet and seems somehow fitting. And I feel like we maybe had a conversation in a pad about slugs once upon a time, but I can't remember it at the moment, they are pretty cute. :') Thanks for sharing, Lim! That sounds like a pretty interesting story - I haven't found a Holy Grail while thrift shopping (yet) but this week did score a baptismal pitcher in one - unfortunately no slugs attached.
    Feb 23, 2022

Liminality Glad you like it! Yes, we did have a convo about slugs :D And ooh so that story rec is more fitting than I thought it would be, too !

  • Heyo Coffee! <3 This social month activity looked fun so I'm stopping by your wall to give it a try ~ #inasentence (choosing a quote from my favorite book to describe some of my favorite people) :]

"We turn around, I mean the world does, around the sun and around on our own axis, and the moon turns around us but we both turn so that we only see one side of the moon and the moon only sees one side of us" Katherine said. "That's interesting, isn't it?" - The Small Rain, Madeleine L'Engle

^ That is interesting to think of. :] I think you see the world in such a unique + compassionate way, especially when you get into your poetic and astrology ponderings which is why I thought this quote really worked for you as far as one I could find. :)

    Have a lovely day Coffee!

AvantCoffee Aaah that's such a cool social month activity, and seeing this post brightened my day so much!! <3 <3 ;u; Thank you for thoughtfully taking the time to find me a quote alliyah <3 (now i wanna try to find you one, except i might not have time to until a couple of days)
I agree with you about the quote being interesting, and it's also pretty interesting to see how other people/friends<3 might view you. I'm glad my poetic and astrology ramblings might have some merit haha

“but music, which is inextricably intertwined with time, is also paradoxically a release from time,” - The Small Rain, Madeleine L'Engle

~ definitely pretty random, but the winding imagery/thoughts and the thoughts on music made me think of you and your love of music theory and music. :)

    Have a fabulous day!

Hijinks That's such a lovely quote! I can definitely see why you got whatcha vibes from it ^-^ Thanks for sharing it with me!
