Hello hello! Hope you all have been enjoying Novel Month so far! Just in case you need it... *hands out writer's block repellent* And you know what else can help with writer's block? #NovMoTags ! Remember, answer at least one hashtag to get a shiny badge :3

And another reminder that you (yes, you!) can share a hashtag in this thread! Get your own hashtag featured in the third and fourth weeks of November! :O

Without further ado, here are this week's tags...

In the process of writing and revising, some scenes are often cut. What are some of your favorite deleted scenes from your writing? Share a snippet on your wall with this hashtag!

Okay. Imagine it's a few years in the future and your novel is now a best-seller, and your fans are demanding merch. What's a line from your novel that you'd put on a T-shirt?

Lastly, please remember that NovMo should be fun for everyone! Let us know if you have any questions or if there's anything we can do to help support all you writers this month :] Happy writing!

  • Welcome in today´s episode of me doing absolutely anything which can be a form of procrastination and also commiting war crimes against my #NovMo wordcount just because THERE ARE SHINY BADGES.
Okay, let´s start with #NovelInspo : Scandinavia. I love Scandinavia and north Europe. Plus, scrolling around Duolingo once in a while when my ADHD goes too bored.

#FateSealed - Main character´s most loyal and best friend, Ruby. Also main character, but he does not know about it yet >:)

    #NovMoTags

  • Here they are! They finally arrived! I CAN EARN A ANICE SHINY BADGE. :D

It's Novel Month! Time to start writing, explore your ideas, and of course hashtagging! Throughout this month, you’ll find #NovMoTags in the people tab to join in on and share more about your novel! As always, participate in at least one tag to earn a shiny badge. (Preview coming soon!)

    Share a Hashtag!
    Spoiler! :
We’ve seen some new hashtags from fellow writers before, so I hereby invite you to share a hashtag in the Share-A-Hashtag thread! A selection of the suggested hashtags will be released during the third and fourth weeks of November. :]
And the tags for this week are…

Every novel idea begins with a spark, big or small. Share the main inspiration for your novel. Was it a special moment in your life, a person, song, picture, film/book, or even a dish?

Every novel has at least one character whose fate is sealed. Which character in your story is destined to die by the end? What decision or twist in the plot leads to this? If there are no losses in your novel, what drastic or tragic event will befall them?

Along the way, please remember not to overwhelm yourself. It’s about enjoying the process and making progress! Set goals, write as much as you like, and have fun :) Happy writing!

  • Totally not me being fashionably late with #NovMoTags and #SpookyTags

    Anyway. #Cursed
If Emyr somehow got his hands on a cursed item, it would definitely be cumin. Like a bottle of cumin. He'd be cooking something with it, ignoring Evelyn like usual, and suddenly, boom, he's cursed. His curse would be having to tell the truth, hands down. He's a pretty sarcastic character, which usually comes with "I'm not lying it's obvious I mean the opposite" explanations to everyone. He'd probably learn to be quiet. He can't say anything funny anymore, and he doesn't want to give away his mysterious secrets....... I mean, what? I didn't say anything.

Snoink Omg! I love how it's a spice. XD

The spookiest greetings! Hope you had fun with the SpookyTags, thank you all for participating! But PlanMo isn’t over yet, you can still keep on hashtagging this month. Feel free to head over to the SpookyTags Thread to claim your spooky badge! And here are two last tags:

If the antagonist of your novel attended a Halloween party, what or who would they disguise themselves as? It's all about Halloween costumes!

Imagine one of your characters accidentally comes into possession of a cursed object. What would their curse be and how would they handle it?

Awesome job with all the writing and planning that has already been done, wishing you all the best with the rest of PlanMo!
Special thanks to the Gen. Lit. crew for all the input into these hashtags:)

Another batch of SpookyTags is coming in! Hope you all had fun with the previous tags. Remember, to join in, post the hashtag on your wall along with your answer. Earn yourself a shiny badge by participating in at least one tag :) (preview coming soon). And the hashtags are...

Every character has something to fear, therefore pick a side character from your novel and reveal their worst fear. Add their name and explain the origin of their fear. (You can also reveal a phobia. For example, a fear of blood, germs, perhaps even breadcrumbs)

Think of 'pumpkin spice hot chocolate' or 'homemade cranberry juice'. Choose an autumn drink that best represents your novel and post that on your wall along with your (possible) title. Feel free to explain why it fits!

We're already a week through PlanMo now! I hope all is going well with the planning, happy writing! Don't forget to check out other fun Spooktober events!
