About CastlesInTheSky

Sarah is a 13 year old girl living in England, who writes as she breathes, worries 24/7, and bears frightening ressemblance to a rake. According to her parents she needs to become 'a normal teenager' by 'getting a life' and ceasing to write 'nonsensical fairytales.' Sarah's lifelines are old movies, tea, and depressing classics. She has two fictional infatuations: Gone With The Wind and Tess of the D'Urbervilles. Sarah should have been born in the golden age of the 1800s, where she could have isolated herself in a castle to write obessively, and frequented dashing gentlemen in top hats.

It had a perfectly round door like a porthole, painted green, with a shiny yellow brass knob in the exact middle. The door opened on to a tube-shaped hall like a tunnel: a very comfortable tunnel without smoke, with panelled walls, and floors tiled and carpeted, provided with polished chairs, and lots and lots of pegs for hats and coats—the hobbit was fond of visitors. The tunnel wound on and on, going fairly but not quite straight into the side of the hill —The Hill, as all the people for many miles round called it—and many little round doors opened out of it, first on one side and then on another.
