The Pig Sty

About Snoink

Hey guys! I used to be an administrator of YWS. Nowadays, I'm enjoying the retired life of a DM. It is fun!

I am the top reviewer of YWS, with over 3000 reviews! Because I broke the star system, Nate put pigs for my review stars, since I love pigs so much. He is a great guy like that. Nowadays, I don't do many reviews, but if you ask for one, maybe I can help you?

As far as writing goes, I'm primarily a novelist who likes to dabble in poetry. I love to write novels, but, I have no major project going on right now. Maybe soon! For now, the main focus and joy of my life is taking care of my beautiful children.

My favorite author is probably G.K. Chesterton. His fantasies and mysteries delight me and I devour any book that I come across that is by him. Still, my favorite book ever written is probably "The Brothers Karamazov" by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. Every time I read it, I love it more. The characters are wonderfully alive.

I am a very happy Roman Catholic and quite willing to blabber on about my faith, if you let me. Also, if you would like a rosary, let me know!

And... that's all!

It had a perfectly round door like a porthole, painted green, with a shiny yellow brass knob in the exact middle. The door opened on to a tube-shaped hall like a tunnel: a very comfortable tunnel without smoke, with panelled walls, and floors tiled and carpeted, provided with polished chairs, and lots and lots of pegs for hats and coats—the hobbit was fond of visitors. The tunnel wound on and on, going fairly but not quite straight into the side of the hill —The Hill, as all the people for many miles round called it—and many little round doors opened out of it, first on one side and then on another.
