  • Ahh okay ok, so I still have to put the jacket clasp on and fiddle with some tweaks in the lining for the lapels. And trim the loose threads that abound on the inside. But it's basically done!! One of my first proper projects done!
I promised myself that I'd start sewing properly(finished edges, linings etc) so I'm very proud of myself for how this turned out!!
The jacket is a pattern I made based off of a Charles James evening jacket( one of my favorite designers) and the shorts I just duped from a pair I already had!

  • I just want o share because I'm so excited about how it turned out.
I got an invisible zipper foot for my sewing machine, I've never put in an invisible zipper before and figured it he useful for my project that has one. Took em a few tries to figure out how to use it properly. But look!! It's so nice!!!

  • I made the craziest crochet error I have EVER made in my life earlier. I am making a shirt and SOMEHOW I ended up on the opposite side of the project when I finished my row. I have no clue how this is even possible. I spent a long time trying to untangle it, but no luck. Eventually, I had to cut it in half and crochet it back together again. I am about ten rows in now and she has recovered well XD

  • I stole this from online. These AI adds make me laugh so hard... yes... that is totally an 'amigurumi recipe'... I will make that with two crochet hooks, a bread tie, and a long curved metal pole. I love embroidering Tom and Jerry with the classic art of amigurumi! :'D

  • I have too much yarn, but if yarn is on sale I have to buy it.
