A thought just hit me, guys do you also think, that to give personality tests one should first have a deeper understanding of ourselves, then only the results are right? I have seen people giving the test almost like portraying the character they want themselves to be. What do you all think?

Zyria Mhm, I think it's important to be honest when taking the questionnaire. People taking the test as who they want themselves to be is probably why so many people are misidentified INTJ's and INFJ's, two allegedly rare types.

  • What are your favorite personality types to write about? How does that compare to your own personality?

KaiaJersaga I am an ISFJ. My favorite personalities to write are definitely my sensing (also known as observing) extraverts. Maybe that's cuz I'm an introvert and really wish I had better social skills, lol. ;)

  • How did you get into MBTI?

KaiaJersaga I first got introduced to it through my sister, and then...I stayed stuck with it. Now, I use it to help me shape my characters. Almost every character gets a Myers-Briggs done in their honor to help me get to know the character more when he or she does not share my personality.

Treat all disasters as if they were trivialities but never treat a triviality as if it were a disaster.
