Adults of YWS

What YWS Means to You

If you're an adult on YWS, I'm willing to bet it's probably because you joined the site when you were a kid, fell in love with it, and either A.) never left, or B.) always find yourself coming back to it, because it scratches an itch that no other website can. (The other thing that's great is that, even though YWS is primarily meant for minors, there are enough adults on here to not feel like the odd man out, and everyone is treated with the same respect and courtesy, regardless of age. That's certainly a rarity on the Internet!)

I'm curious to know what brought you to YWS in the first place—how'd you find out about it? Why'd you sign up? What did you think when you first joined?—and why this site occupies a special place in your heart. What keeps you coming back? How has YWS helped you grow as a writer (or as a person)? And, ultimately, what does YWS mean to you?
