Colonia Heights

Felicity didn't want to go back to Colonia Heights. In fact, if she never saw it again, it would be too soon. Unfortunately, her twin sister, Fiona, doesn't share her reservations. Excited by the prospect of returning to the town they grew up, Fiona all but drags her back.

Readjusting to her childhood home town, the place her parents died, is miserable. Of course, things are never so simple. She soon realises there are other things amiss in Colonia Heights. Where did the wishing well in the forest come from? What is the strange virus in the magic? Why does nobody remember who Charity Barnes is? And, most importantly, what happened to her?

"For a short space of time I remained at the window watching the pallid lightnings that played above Mont Blanc and listening to the rushing of the Arve, which pursued its noise way beneath. The same lulling sounds acted as a lullaby to my too keen sensations; when I placed my head upon my pillow, sleep crept over me; I felt it as it came and blessed the giver of oblivion."
— Mary Shelley, Frankenstein
