Hey everyone, I have a quick prayer request if you don't mind.
My grandma isn't doing too well right now. She has a bleed coming from somewhere but the doctors haven't figured out where it is yet, so she's having all kinds of test done, and we're all a little worried about her right now. If you could, my family would really appreciate your thoughts and prayers.

If you are doing lent and if you are comfortable with sharing, what will you be giving up for lent and why?
I'm going to be giving up social media, mainly youtube and Twitch. When I'm bored my main go-to is youtube which ends up in my looking at my screen for hours on end. So I definitely need a break. What about you guys?
WinnyWriter I am forfeiting this computer game I play a lot. Also will not be going to the coffee shop on campus.
Interesting that you asked. I think this can help give creative ideas for someone else who might be interested.

The world is so messy and broken right now. Prayers ascending for all those grieving, sick, anxious, or in danger - may we remember we all are one body, and look for strength in Christ.

Hi all <3
There’s a significant flood in my area right now (NSW and QLD Australia), with towns of people losing their houses and some really horrible stories of people drowning inside buildings or in their cars near causeways. I’m safe and out of the flood’s way, but if you’re able to pray for the safety and peace of people and families dealing with this tragedy right now it’d really be appreciated. <3 I’ll be doing the same in my own way

I think it'd be a good idea to pray for the many around the world who are getting hit with COVID and other sickness. Obviously this is an ongoing need, but since I recently got COVID myself, I can relate a bit more to those who struggle with it, and I'm sure all could use our prayers!

I love this song, so wanted to share it here. I do the music at my church with my dad and a friend, and we might be singing this or another of her songs (I Shall Not Want, It Is Well With My Soul) next week. I love Audrey Assad's voice so much! This whole album is incredibly peaceful.

I think it would be appropriate if we made it a point to pray especially for the many users on YWS who are struggling with mental health issues and lack of support. I hear the pain conveyed in many of their blog posts, and even in the pieces they submit for review, and I wish so desperately there was something I could do to help. Then I remember that we as Christians can in fact do something for them - we can pray. Through prayer, we can get a hold of the One who can help them in the best way possible. Please help me pray that they would find healing for their hearts!
