I’m… pretty sure this counts as prose poetry, right? Anyways, it’s about the boogeyman.

The poem is taking place through the eyes of a man at war while he thinks of its inhumanity.

The ocean is a terrifyingly massive and uncaring force of nature.

A sequel to The Reflection! Can you escape the maze of your mind?

Its hard to hold on. A short piece that I will need to work on in the future to try and encapsulate my feelings. I hope its briefness is a strength.

Based on my experience with the AP Lit Exam.

Warning: fire accidents ahead & mention of death. Not my usual kind of poem, but oh well.

When you haven't written in a long time and it feels like talking to an old friend you have once betrayed. The unconscious playing tricks & pinwheels.
