For me, it’s two, because of classes. “Crime and Punishment” by Fyodor Dostoevsky and “The Call of the Ocean” by Jean-Claude Mourlevat.

I suppose it’s sort of two for me, then, as well - ‘Atonement’ by Ian McEwan, for myself, and ‘Of Mice and Men’ by John Steinbeck for English.
Preferring the former to the latter so far.

I Served the King of England, by Bohumil Hrabal (English translation). House of Leaves, by Mark Z. Danielewski.

My Antonia by Willa Cather, though I only have a chapter left. I’m prolonging the joy of reading it for as long as I can.
What’s next? I haven’t a clue. Books are on their way to me but won’t be here for a week or so. The lit journal, probably. =)
Cpt. Smurf> I’d love to hear your thoughts on Atonement.
ElizaW> House of Leaves, eh? That’s an amazing, creepy book. I hope you enjoy it!
