Chances are that if you’re writing a fantasy story or novel, then you have a castle, palace, redoubt, fortification, or some other huge building.  In that case, it’s usually a good idea to do one of two things: (1) Draw a picture of the building to get a full sense of it, or (2) base the description on a real building.  If you are in need of such pictures of castles, click here for some amazing photographs.
