YWS Radio Episode #1: Thoughts & Comments

I’m actually listening to it right now, and it wasn’t that bad. I think with more preparation on my part, and if I manage to figure out why people couldn’t call in, then it will be much better. I may actually end up doing a 15 minute test program on Wednesday again just to find out what went wrong.
Next time around, I intend to have a 15 minute radio show in the middle, along with a more well-defined news segment. This program was a bit chaotic.
Obviously enough, I wasn’t pleased with how it turned out, but it was the first episode and it still was fun. What did everyone else think?

I just finished listening to the bits I missed; shame people couldnt get through, but I loved Flemzo’s “intro” and I think you did a good job of keeping it going even though there were technical difficulties
I’m going to make sure I’m on time next week (thanks, DST -.-) and see if I can call in using my computer headset. Because that would be seriously awesome

I think it was fantastic, considering all the problems. It’s a shame my hard(?) work wasn’t able to be showcased, but hopefully it works for next time. I’m thinking co-hosts should be in the chatroom to relay messages, and you should just worry about the techno-stuff on your end (this is based on the fact that people could call in once you left chat).

For all the bumps, it was still good!
Don’t get too frustrated Nate
Keep in mind it is a work in progress and you are still learning how it works. Everyone loves it even if it isn’t going according to plan, eventually will have it down amazing. So don’t stress too much over it not working yet, Kay? You put a lot of hard work into everything, and we all appreciate it! Even if it doesn’t work how you wanted it to, we’re still really happy and entertained.
Hopefully I won’t call in on the next show… I feel like a major Radio-time hog.
