Starting an internet radio station for the Young Writers Society has been my pet, top-secret project over the last month. I finally went ahead with it today, and we had our pilot program at 8:30 pm EST. By all measures, it was a smashing success! Over 70 listeners, and I only gave 30 minutes notice!
In the future, we will do old time radio shows, poetry jams, news & announcements, shoutouts, etc. Expect it to be coming at you once a week on Sundays!

Holy crackers, no one sounds remotely like I thought they would. O.o
Nate, you have an excellent voice for radio. Very suave and pleasing on the ears.
And Clau, don’t drop the pan. That’s generally considered… bad. xD

And I agree with Saint, your voice is just lovely.
I got my mom’s permission to call so I will so be calling in on Sunday!
And I think we even broke the chat room record. 23 people. ^_^

XD that was SO cool! And everyone sounded so…different. I giggled through the entire thing. But then, I’m very easily amused. XD

Yep, you will be able to listen to it afterwards. There’s also a way to have it available for download in .mp3 or iPod format, so I just gotta figure that out.
I’m also thinking of doing this on Wednesday’s around 8:30 pm EST as well for 15 to 30 minutes, but I’m going to wait and see if this works out. If it’s popular enough, then I will definitely do it twice a week.

I listened to it, very cool. I particularly liked Clau’s little pan-dropping excercise - very funny!
I will definitely be listening live next time. It’s a great idea, Nate!

I’m just hoping that we don’t air only on sundays, because I can’t listen in on sunday afternoons.
Also, an mp3 format would be very cool!

I loved it but I wish it was longer. My mom won’t let me call in. >=[ I’ll try and convince her, though.
