Invasion? Ready the Bomb Shelters.
It is visible to everyone that there are a lot of people coming in from TW. It could even be called an invasion. So should we jump into our bomb shelters and ready the small pox? Not yet, at least.
It is a little scary to see the site I’ve come to love get swapped with these people saying, “I came from TW!” because it makes you feel like we’re getting run over by them; but aren’t we really running them over? Think of it: the more that join from there, the higher our number of members. And, if we steal their good ones, perhaps we’ll have good members for good? Just kidding
We agreed, no stealing.
A lot of us have also gone over to TW, including me, does this mean that YWS might loose members? Hopefully, no. The affiliation is a connection, not a member steal. (So TW has been saying, anyway…) The point of it is to combine forces and strength everything we already have.
Alright, so it really isn’t an invasion….Can we still get in the bomb shelters? Sure, just no throwing the small pox bombs. When the two sites fuse together and create a weird, unwanted super power writing forum, then maybe we can have a revolt.
But until then, enjoy the new members!

Despite some ah … tension, I’m enjoying the experience. It’s nice to see what YWS has to offer and I’m certainly enjoying critiquing some of the longer fantasy stories. I’m big-headed enough to say that I’m one of TW’s best, and it looks like you’ve got me for a good while.
I won’t be forsaking TW, though!

I’m not quite bigheaded enough to call myself one of TW’s best–Imelda went and did it for me (my…intro thread(?) I believe).
Regardless, I’ve certainly come to enjoy my time on YWS, and I can see myself remaining a member on both sites for many blogs to come
