NaNoWriMo in May?

Alright, so I’m going a bit crazy. We all know this. I have a goal: write a novel in one month. But wait, don’t we do this in November? Yeah, yeah, we do… But here’s the idea: You get the last month of school to write it (which in its self is a terrible idea since you are freaking out over finals and grades but…more stress, more fun, right?) and then a whole summer to edit it and write a second draft. I had planned this for Secrets but no, didn’t work out. So I’m doing it with my newer novel.
Who else wants to participate in NaNoWriMo in May? 
We could have word wars and word count competitions and all that stuff. I think I’m missing November…

Since I failed so miserably in November, it’s worth another shot, so I’ll participate! I’ll even make a forum, but you have to make the threads!

Hmm, I’d go for may. I hate November because I have 0982340928348 things going on then, but I’m out of school on may 8th and then I have the whole month with just working! So I’d actually have time…plus I just had a new random novel idea so it’s perfect timing!

Count me in! November’s the worst month for me since my birthday’s in that month and I get off track with that plus there’s not as much stress = not as much “pressure” (for lack of a better word) to keep writing. And I’m a total procrastinator unless I have a boot in my rear to keep me going.

Hm. I don’t know about novel, but I’d love to finish up my short stories I’ve got floating around on my computer and in my head. Let’s say five short stories. That could be considered a book!
