Personally… I think if a college gives you a grant and promises it to you for 4 years as long as you keep up your end of the bargain, then they should not have the right to take it away (because they feel like it, not because you didn’t do everything they were supposed too).
I don’t know, but my college tuition went up 10% for next year, my EFC went up (but my ACTUAL family contribution did and will not), and now they are taking this grant away…what this sounds like to me is: time for Meg to transfer to a cheaper college.
Crappy, crappy, crappy.

Those who organize grants &c. seriously suck. I’ve had SO many problems with my loan this year — they lost my damn application TWICE and now the school is suspending me until they make the payment. Which really, really ticks me off, since I have three essays due and need to use the library and…well yeah. Gah.
But anyway. This isnt about my problems LOL. What I’m trying to say is, you have my sympathies. I hope things work out for you :o)
