Hello all,

What are your favorite short stories!?!? To be exact, your top five favorite stories? I'm always looking for another good short story to read, so please google them and maybe you will be able to find a link to share! YAY.

Mine, in no particular order:

Carlos the Impossible, J.T.K. Belle
I read this the other day, so I don't know if it really is one of my favorites, but I loved and I must share. Check it out in the latest McSweeney's

The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber, Hemingway.
I love how Francis's character is built up and then destroyed.

The Cask of Amontialdo. Edgar Allen Poe.
Had to read this in high school and I've loved it ever since.

Bullet in the Brain, Tobias Wolff
Listened to it via New Yorker Podcast, and once it played, I had to put down my mop while working, sit, and listen to it again. Look for it in the New Yorker Podcast.

A Primer for the Punctuation of Heart Disease, Jonathan Safran Foer
So original. Makes sense why he was able to write Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. I originally read this one online, but it looks like the New Yorker locked it up :(
