None of the Above, or Other, for me. Ska is where its at.

Too right i like alot of cross genres such as Metal/Punk Ska/Punk Rock/Punk Punk/Alternative Punk/Electro so like alot of Cross Genres i hate Hip Hop and Heavy Metal with a passion. Oh i also like hardrock.

Where's Bob Dylan in all of this?!?! For shame. He's like.... genius, methinks. My favorite types of music are... uh... I don't know. My favorite artists would be... Bob Dylan (of course), Matt Costa, Ben Kweller, Telepopmusik, Judd and Maggie, Five Iron Frenzy, Laura Gibson.... other stuff.... there doesn't seem to be a real pattern there, genre-wise.

pop-punk. and rock, not like pop rock but actual rock.

uh, and don't take offense to this anyone, but country needs to go crawl into a corner and die. So does hip-hop and R&B. ugh.

But "A Boy Named Sue" kicks some serious ass. :)

Caligula's Launderette wrote:hmm... I listen to everything, I don't have a favorite type of music, I have favorite bands and artists. Then there are bands and artists that I don't like. I listen to soundtracks, ska, punk, rock, classic rock, oldies, musicals, classical, celtic, jazz, blues, country, rap, r n b, techno, dance, latin, you name it.

The top of my list right now in no particular order is...

1. Reel Big Fish (ska)
2. Flogging Molly
3. Bobby Darin
4. Joni Mitchell
5. Bob Dylan
6. Kid Rock
7. Save Ferris
8. Jimi Hendrix
9. Santana (cause he's a god!)
10. Kanye West

oh and that I've almost worn out my RENT soundtrack...

Funny how you had to put (Ska) next to RBF, but you didnt bother with the rest. Who in Sam Hill is Bobby Darin? or Bob Dylan?
You shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, instead, you should read every single book to see what every book is about before you even come close to judging its viability.

Hello!
It's definitely "other" for me. I pretty much just listen to soundtracks, from musicals not movies. It's probably not that "cool", but I like it.

A lot of people will call me a sappy git, but my favourite band of all time is Snow Patrol. I've loved their music since I heard 'Run' and they've been great ever since. Besides the new album, that is.
Other great bands: The Killers, Kaiser Chiefs, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Green Day, Razorlight, Director, REM... Rock music, in other words.
I have an idea about these voices I hear
They're audible to everyone
Everyone but me
