Oh you already knew this was coming! So have you downloaded the app yet? If so, what's your level? Your team? Your favorite Pokemon? How many pounds have you lost? Do your legs hurt? How often do you play? And etc.

I play the classics, and have for the past five years.

I must be one of those 90's kid (or even the only 90's kid-- I was told that it was big during the 90's) to be unperturbed by this trend.
If any person raises his hand to strike down another on the ground of religion, I shall fight him till the last breath of my life, both as the head of the Government and from outside- Jawaharlal Nehru.
I'm a 90's kid and I remember when Pokemon was first a thing (in the States, anyway) and school banned it because otherwise the kids would have their cards out during class (but also it was a Catholic school so it might have been banned for other reasons because I know some of the religious schools were like, "DEMONS! SAVE THE CHILDREN!")
and long story short
(too late)
I was just never into it. I've never played any of the games, watched the show, etc. Giggling at the occasional Pikachu pun is the extent of my interest in anything Pokemon-related.
I grew up with Pokemon. I used to train my cousin's Pokemon on his gameboy- which was fun until I got my own game many years later, on a DS. We used to watch the shows all the time- we didn't have cable but my grandma had a collection of the Pokemon edisodes on VCR.
I might try Pokemon Go for nostalgia sakes when it makes its way to Canada! But ive never been big on games. I enjoy them for awhile and then I never play them again! XP
@EternalRain SAME. I've asked my neighbour for help with that. He works at the airport, and sometimes people leave stuff behind and never come back for it, so I said "If someone leaves a 5-6 behind I'm calling it, yeah?"
I'm level five, have yet to defeat a gym, am very attached to my Scyther (his name is Skel, and he's also my strongest with a little over 180 combat power), have joined Team Mystic, and I haven't played too much because I've been busy.
I pretty much grew up with Pokémon (I had the first series on VHS) and collected the cards. I didn't do much with the cards, but Pokémon will always have a special place in my heart.
