So I have to pick a springy object to look at or observe and do a report on. I half want to get a trampoline but... yeah.

So any hints on something bouncy that has oscillations?

Maybe a spring board? You could go down to a local gym and look at the mechanism in that. Or perhaps a diving board? Would that come under springy? And there's always bouncy castles though I don't know where you'd get one of those...
