How would I go about writing a dream, which is actually a memory? Would I do it in italics?

And how would I write thoughts and dialogue? Would I un-italicize and then italize again?
Writing your name can lead to writing sentences. And then the next thing you'll be doing is writing paragraphs, and then books. And then you'll be in as much trouble as I am!

That method should work. It seems to be fairly standard for how dreams are written.
A writer is a world trapped in a person— Victor Hugo

Ink is blood. Paper is bandages. The wounded press books to their heart to know they're not alone.

I've seen people write about dreams as they would write normally, they just state that what they're about to write is a dream. That way the thoughts, even though I find it hard to THINK in a dream, can be italicized and it won't look to confusing.
