Love your imagery, Plume! The pictures of night and day in this most recent one are so vivid and full of character. I love the sensory images of a beak "doused in ink" - makes me think of something almost obsidian-like, very dark and sharp, and the image of newspaper combined with that of the moon makes an interesting juxtaposition. I also really enjoy the image "crisp hope and butter". It sounds really nice read aloud and also makes me think of pastries without actually saying the word pastries, which is always a win in my book. Great going with NaPo!
