Hi all,

Red Rover Magazine is now accepting works of short fiction, poetry, and artwork/ photography for our premiere issue, currently anticipated for a print and electronic release date of January 2021. We're a brand new literary magazine with a focus on promoting the improvement of mental health through the process of writing and creation. We're especially eager to read the works of young, powerful writers who haven't been published, and also those who have personal investment with the experiences of mental health.

If interested, please send up to 6 poems, 2-5 pages of fiction, or up to 6 pieces of original artwork/photography to submissions@redrovermagazine.com. Submit your work as an email attachment in .doc or .docx format.

For more information, you can visit our website at https://redrovermagazine.com.

We unfortunately cannot pay you for your work. We appreciate and value each submission with individual love and care, though.

It had a perfectly round door like a porthole, painted green, with a shiny yellow brass knob in the exact middle. The door opened on to a tube-shaped hall like a tunnel: a very comfortable tunnel without smoke, with panelled walls, and floors tiled and carpeted, provided with polished chairs, and lots and lots of pegs for hats and coats—the hobbit was fond of visitors. The tunnel wound on and on, going fairly but not quite straight into the side of the hill —The Hill, as all the people for many miles round called it—and many little round doors opened out of it, first on one side and then on another.
