Hi guys, It has been far too long since I dropped by - going on 3 years in fact! So having spotted this section of randomness, I couldn't resist poking my head in to contribute.

Here is a poem I just wrote, inspired by the style of one of my favorite poets - Tim Atkins.

So go ahead, write a random poem! ... you might like it...

Serenity flecked with angst.

Douse my hope in a shower of ammonia whilst I re-enact better times.

Manners lack as ambling towards conventions irk my gag reflex, provoked by a social gorget.

A souffle of sneers and grins, rubbing a troubled lid looking down at a salty nose.

Better times were had. Better people were had.
A dagger at dusk is worth a thousand swords at dawn

Danger! Hear me, for danger, danger

hath come to haunt our dreams
and wreak havoc on our fields!

Danger, impossible, improbable!
Stop danger from coming,
its storm brewing
its eye opening!
The
danger
let it
not
happen.
