I think its a shame that there is a science devoted almost entirely to math (now anyway, as we go further and further into subjects we don't have the technology to actually test), a useful tool, that while effective for logic, is not infallible, and has lead to more then one crack pot theory stumbling into the spot light, forcing capable scientist to waste time on it.
TUBM disagrees with my thought process for physics.

I do, in fact, disagree with you. Physics is the basis of understanding the physical nature of our universe. (And then there's quantum physics, which is also fun!) Maybe new theories aren't so great, but it's good to know that force equals mass times acceleration.

Nope, but I want to. (I am not against the discoveries, and things that actually fit their purpose, I am against a science devoting itself to math, with no way to prove itself beyond more math, which is based on limited human understanding.)
