I've read a bit of most novels though - a few chapters of Shantaram (Gregory David Roberts), The Sisters Brothers (Patrick deWitt) etc., and also, for his simplistic style and wit, Chetan Bhagat's '2 States' is a cool read (It's also one of the very few novels I've actually completed reading, lol). Also, I think Enid Blyton's stories are simply wonderful to read. I read a couple of her books as a child and those fond memories still do linger. ^.^
