Percy Jackson and the Olympians rocks! They messed up the movie, though... :( *hangs head in shame*

I agree with Chomalita!
Blift, I live in the U.S. so I still have no clue who she is... I'll look her up, though to make your day! :)

Kane chronicles!
Oh, and the Steps across The Water.
The last one isn't all that good, but it is for my book club.

Recent reads:
Slaughterhouse Five - Kurt Vonnegut
Catch 22 - Joseph Heller
Cryptonomicon - Neal Stephenson
The Awakening - Kate Chopin (for school)

All had some degree of merit (except The Awakening, that was terrible) and Cryptonomicon is just first class entertainment. For anyone new to cyber/cypherpunk, try Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash, it's a classic.

John Dies at the End is my new favorite book. It is an excellent mix of paranoia inducing horror, and the vulgar humor used in films like "Clerks". I cannot wait for the second book to come out now.

I, Robot by Isaac Asimov was a good read. It's not for fans of modern, edge-of-your-seat sci-fi, though.
