It takes most sites at least a year and a half to reach 700 members, if they even last for that long. YWS has now done it in ten months, thanks to the excellent members of this site :D

Not sure exactly what is going on, but the number of registered members has really grown since Saturday... it's been almost ten new members a day. I did start some minor advertising for the site, but I started that back in late August and it didn't have that much of an effect.

Anyways, I'm hoping to have YWS reach 800 registered members by November 14th, or when the site turns a year old. Looks like we'll definitely hit that number now...

Now I'm hoping to have 1,000 members by years end. Of course as the site gets larger, I'm going to have to figure out how to keep the community feel. I'll probably do that with regularly scheduled community events and a more active VIP area.

But for now; wow... 700!

Wow. I remember joining in December and being the 104th member and being so overwhelmed. Congrats, Nate, you have done a fantastic job on the site. I look forward to watching it grow.

Yeah thats pretty crazy. Sort of like how i went from 40 some posts yesterday to 120 some posts today.

It's nice to have a lot more people on though.

Whoa. I was the 11th member. Now THAT'S scary, lol.

Check the memberlist. I believe it's in chronological order by default.

Thanks. I'm #114. Hey, Nate, could you add our member number to our mini profile in our posts? That would be cool.

You can actually check your member number really easy by going to your profile. Look at the url address and you'll see a number at the top; that's the number in which you joined.
