I found something awsome on youtube earlier today. It's a parody of War of the Worlds using a Steam program called Garry's Mod. For those of you who don't know what Garry's Mod is, watch the movie and you'll find out. It has a serious overtone, but the concept of the movie is what makes it hilarious.

(Each of these episodes range from 10-20 minutes each. So if you want to watch, grab yourself a drink and a bowl of popcorn.)

For those of you who have watched these, you're probably wondering what those weird guns everyone was carrying were. They're called gravity guns and physics guns. The orange one is the gravity gun. Players often use them in role playing games to pick up, carry and throw objects. I believe it's one of the weapons you use in Half-Life 2. The blue one is the physics gun and is essential for building things in G-mod. It picks up, rotates and places objects that you want to use to build something.

I'm all in favor of keeping dangerous weapons out of the hands of fools. Let's start with typewriters.
