A lot of verbs in the Past tense have the é at the end and is then pronounced. Without it, it isn´t pronounced. Or for example été = summer and without them, it would probably be pronounced like at instead of ehteh?). I don´t know xD
That´s actually a nice name. I know a T-elos from some videogames. I think the "e" in Télos is now pronounced more intense than without it.
