I don´t find that funny. I wish the war would be like chess. You just have to get the Queen and you won. So we didn´t have to fight through innocent lives.
Yeah, you're lucky. I feel a little uncomfortable because you don't see anything from the West but just withdrawing and dealing with sanctions. It's strange to think about there being war again. The last time there was war in Europe, it was "only" a civil war after the disintegration of Yugoslavia, but now we are dealing with an international conflict where countries like Germany and France can't do anything because they depend on the energy supply from Russia...
Thank you! I hope too, that there will be a solution, that is best for all. The term war only ever had such an alienated, distant, empty sound because the conflicts were either in the past or on other continents. This is something completely different and the term war has now acquired a heat that you can get burnt on.
That is so true! I was actually thinking about that the other day. When I was younger I didn't hear anything about world conflicts. I was ignorantly bliss, but now that I'm older I hear all about it every day. I wish I could've just stayed oblivious to the conflicts that are happening all around the world. Hearing about them just makes me sad.
I wouldn't call it ignorant or bliss. I never really understood the concept of countries and continents as a child and always said I was from region X where I assumed everyone could do something with it. I think that's a normal process you go through when you're younger.
Yeah, unfortunately it’s a part of growing up, I think. It also depends on the media you’re consuming, I think. My therapist wanted me to look at a Wallstreet Journal article tonight and I didn’t have a subscription to see it so I got a temporary one to access the article — and the home page got me fuming about Trump, Putin, and COVID all at once before I even remembered the article I was supposed to be reading lol

That´s hard. You get overwhelmed with news and you don´t even know of it is correct or not. There are even now already fake news and photos about Ukraine on the Internet.
No, it's not that you didn't succeed. You accomplished a lot, but, if you want to touch people, don't concentrate so much on rhyme and metre. Think more about what you want to say instead of how you're saying it. — LCDR Geordi La Forge
