"u and rina are systematically watering down the grammar of yws" - Atticus "From the fish mother to the fish death god." - lehmanf "A fish stole my identity. I blame shady" - Omni [they/he]
Lumi cannot seem to summon the strength to deal a decisive blow against the Shade… nor can the Shade seem to summon the speed to dodge such a weak blow. It is scratched lightly. Omnibus attempts to damage it, but it blocks with a tentacle.
Meanwhile, Lost and the Goblin are locked in fierce battle with another Shade. The goblin charges, pushing ahead and managing to nick the Shade, and it just barely dodges Lost, who also manages to inflict a shallow cut.
The mysterious woman slices, but the Shade manages to block it and counterattacks, however, its opponent is too fast and dodges safely.
Shady, Judas and Alpha sleep. Fiend stands guard. Audy methodically continues widening the tunnel.
those who are sleeping can omit posting, if they wish to continue sleeping (recommended).
"A dwarf never sleeps," Audy says and she lets out a sigh. She looks around at the tunnel, now with twice the amount of space as before. Should be good enough, Audy shrugs and decides to take the time to explore.
lumi strikes with an incredibly powerful blow which the shade is powerless to stop. omnibus too, shoots forth a beam seemingly powerful and precise, but the shade's reaction is just as quick. it seems their tentacles can act independently, as if with a brain of their own.
the goblin strikes again, scratching the Shade. Lost's attack is unable to deal any damage, however.
The mysterious stranger is seemingly overwhelmed by the Shade's fury in attacking, but she manages to dodge all the tentacles nimbly and counterstrike -- however, to no avail.
Audy uncovers what appears to be an impossibly vast cave, so vast she can only see part of it, the rest covered in what appears to be vapor. She hears water, and… scuttling?
for the record there's one more turn of night left.
She woke up to sounds of thumping above... and scuttling below. She finds Audy at the bottom of the tunnel, frowning at a dark hole. "Cave," explains Audy. Shady follows closely behind. "Can't tell if it's safe; too dark." They look at each other, hoping someone would volunteer to go down. "I'll go down," she blurts before the rush of bravado deserts her. "If it's safe, I'll call out for you.." She carefully lowers herself down the hole, secretly wishing someone would follow trail.
