Last summer I met 55-year-old Karen Byrne in New Jersey, who suffers from Alien Hand Syndrome.

Her left hand, and occasionally her left leg, behaves as if it was under the control of an alien intelligence.

I found this to be, not only an interesting subject, but also an interesting way of writing the report. I would've imagined some of the names given to this type of epilepsy were mildly controversial in today's "politically correct" society.
