August
"This might not be as bad as thought." Eliza laughed.
"So the princess can be pleased?" I joked.
"On occasion." She smiled and the music ended.
"Wonderful!" Mrs. Roosevelt clapped and swayed. "Oh I can just tell this will be a great year. Now ladies and gentlemen, please take a seat as we discuss the upcoming term."
Eliza and I sat down and immediately I began to zone out. I've never had a particularly long attention span and something about the headmistress made me want to bang my head against a wall.

After a long speech she dismissed us to our dorms. I groaned and stretched then held out my arm to Eliza.
"Please, great, humble, beautiful princess Eliza," I said dramatically. "Would you give me the tremendous honor as to allow me to escort such a high member of society such as yourself to her highness's sleeping chambers?"
"I suppose." She held her chin high and grinned as she took my arm and I led her up the grand stair case.
We walked towards her room and I spun her one last time before opening her door for her.
"Goodnight." I smiled.
She held up her hand. "You're forgetting something."
My eyebrows knitted together in confusion. "What do you mean?"
"I'm looking for a word.." She drifted off. "Starts with a P.."
I laughed, finally understanding. "Goodnight, Princess Eliza."
"Goodnight, August." She said softly and closed the door behind her.
I walked into my room and to my surprise there was another guy in my room.
"Uh, hey man." I held out my hand. "You must be my roommate."
He nodded and shook my hand. "Jacob."
"August."
"How was your night?" He asked, unpacking his bag.
"Good." I pulled my sweat pants back on. "How was yours?"
"Amazing. I met this girl.." He drifted off and I raised my eyebrows.
"Oh yeah? And her name?"
"Colleen."
