Spoiler! :
Image

Heyo, everyone. ^u^ This... is...*gasp* a DIGITAL DRAWING!!! Have no fear, I do these all the time.

So, this is just a random dude I drew like half-an-hour before going to bed last night. And I just felt like using blues. After staring at the sky for 2 hours, it gets imprinted in your head. And no, I am not crazy. I just had nothing else to do. Okay, maybe I am crazy... O.o

Ahem, yes. Where were we? Ah, yeah, I meant for the boy to have no eyes. I thought eyes would sort of imbalance the picture, so I didn't draw them in. (Actually, I just got lazy, but meh previous reason sounds more professional. ;))

The one thing I'm really proud of in my picture is the button! Come on, it looks like one of those plastic buttons you get with really weird clothing, right? I have no idea what I drew on it, but it still looks cool. ^u^

Okay, closing. (I'm pretty sure you're getting tired of hearing my hyper-ness ^^")
Reviews are welcome. Hard-core if welcome too, but try not to hurt my feelings. *-*

You ARE crazy... crazy AWESOME!! ^_^

I read the description first, and then I clicked for the picture and I was all like..
*falls out of chair*
Woah!

Dat hair. It just stands out at you. The black against the white background and then streaks of bright blue. I think you picked the perfect shade of blue here, it looks amazing! The way you blended and layered the hair is exactly the way to go, I think this style suits you really well!

His whole look reminds me of like, I dunno, a vampire manga or something x)

Small suggestions. The chin could be defined a bit more, I think. You used a pretty big brush to draw it and the opacity was pretty low. I would've made it look a little sharper, use a thinner brush and solid black, and really define the shape of the jaw. Oh, the same goes for the lips, you have the right shape but it helps as you practice to try and fit in some details here and there.

Oh, and I love the pale skin ^_^ To contrast it more from the background, I might think about adding some light gray shading around the cheekbone or nose area.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR POSTING, I LOVE TO SEE YOUR STUFF.

OuO Thank you! Was it really that good?

It was the first digi drawing I ever posted up, so I tried to cover my nervousness with a bunch of jokes, but I'm really grateful. ^u^

And yah, I know I could have used a more defined brush, but I just felt more comfortable with a more natural brush. I'll try and change it. ^^"

I'll probably post up some more. Thanks for the review, Blacky. >u<

Oh yeah... what about my button? O.o

I think it's a huge step in improvement for you, which makes me so excited ^_^

And I like it! Reminds me of the button on my Oliver character.

Of course I am! You know, I would never have improved in my art if people didn't encourage me with it. I like to return that as much as possible x) Seriously, if you look back a few years my old drawings look just like the things you post.

Yeah, I've seen them. X3 I get bored and sort of brush through the Art forums sometimes.

I know how much encouragement can help. And I really appreciate the smiles of disbelief people get when they see my drawings. XD Just shows I can get better and make them faint instead. Right? :P
