I think its just the colors but I have no opinion on this right now.
You shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, instead, you should read every single book to see what every book is about before you even come close to judging its viability.
Pretty! I like the exaggerated features (the nose rocks!) and it looks pretty, uncolored and colored. The hands look a little strange, but what the hey!

FAERIES! Great choice of colours. The nose makes it look funny and cute. And yes, the hands look strange, but who says faeries have to have hands like humans.

thats real purty!! i always love drawings of faeries and such. i love the nose and her expression,but i dont really think she looks bored. just dreamy. i like them both, but iguess i prefer the uncoclored sketch too.
