Oh, I really like this. I even like that the violin is lopsided. I think that if there was a background the lopsidedness of some things would be more important, but since it doesn't have a real background, and then comes across as more of a conceptual (is that the right word...?) piece, so it really looks good as is. I think you should leave it so that you can keep the feeling.
Pretty! I'm just gonna be unhelpful and say I liked it--no one jump me!
"In a sort of ghastly simplicity we remove the organ and demand the function...We laugh at honour and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and bid the geldings be fruitful." ~C.S. Lewis
In general, this is very good but the left arm is a little thin and long and the fingers need some work. Also, I think the violin isn't placed quite right but I love the dress and the hair and the background is very colourful. Your shading is good, your proportions are generally very accurate and overall this is really well drawn so keep up the good work!
I think that the person is lovely. I don't like the background so much, though. Her right arm, for example, blends too well and seems to disappear, and a similar thing with her left hand. But I really like the green down by her feet!
wow...looks like the violinist is like depressed or failed something just because of the facial expressions. You really did an extremely good job with the drawing and I hope to see some more

I love the way her hair flows out. The colors are really neat too; I never would have thought to pair the red with that particular background. A few of the proportions look slightly off (i.e. the bent violin, her legs a little shorter than you'd expect for her long arms) but I really like it all the same. Nice!
Got YWS?
