somewhere around last month, my class and i went to the Weland Reserve. Here are some photos I took:

Image
There is a mudskipper in the waters...

Image
A monitor lizard. It looks quite small in the picture, but actually, it is kind of big.

Image
Another monitor lizard...

1. A close up would have been better but I bet it's not easy to take a photo of a moving animal...

2. I love this one. I think I'd crop the bottom of the picture so that the creature is centered but it's really good and your focus is actually quite accurate.

3. I think I prefered the second because this one's facing away but it's a good shot. Perhaps crop the top a little though - those flowers are distracting me.

These are good :)

I like the second one best. And the lizard is cute

It looks very muddy where you were.

I like seeing the lizard, but I feel like the setting isn't bold enough to really capture my attention. They are good if you are showing people "hey, look at this awesome lizard I saw!" but artistically they are kind of boring? It's really cool though for the lizard.

The pic of the mudskipper made me think of an air photo of an alligator. They're nice, but nothing very artistic to them. They're pictures of animals. I like them though, lizards are so cool. :)

*nods* I have to second write_me on this one.

I mean, I've never seen a monitor lizard before, so it's like, hey, cool, a monitor lizard! But this isn't a blog, so it should have some degree of artistry to it. A different angle, with a close-up on the lizard would have been really cool, and maybe different lighting too, just to spice things up. Everybody loves spice. :D

But still cool anyway. Thanks for sharing!
