For the record I know the hat in the second one is distracting, but I felt it was rude to ask the guy to move while I took a picture over his head while he was having dinner haha.
The first is my favourite. The sunset is amazing and the boats are outlined perfectly. They look a little like pirate ships actually but that could just be my obsession with Jack Sparrow...
The second is nice too but like you say, the hat spoils it a little and the palm branch isn't the best item to go in the foreground but then I suppose you couldn't ask the tree/bush to move either. Lol. The sunset isn't as dazzling either... Very nice though. I'm presuming it's in Spain with a title like that?
What a gorgeous sky in both the pictures (If the guy in the second one really bothers you, you could just crop him out). And the water reflects the sun beautifully in the first one.
I really like the first one with the ships. The light is shining through the sails and creates a nice effect.
I don't really like the second one. The flash is bouncing off the leaves, which are distracting anyway. Also, the camera on the tripod reveals that the shot is slightly blurry.
The first one is definitely the best... my sister asked if they were real since it looked so surreal. Beautiful stuff.

They were taken in the Florida Keys, actually. They were both taken the same day just a little while apart (you can tell because they have the same landmass).
I actually like the palms and the camera, I kind of think they make the picture...it would be boring without them I suppose??
Well... for the camera picture, the camera looks a little blurred. So that's why it doesn't do anything for me, really. If it were more clear, that would be a different matter.
