This is a compliment thread to the SPEW Gryphon fan-fic by Griffenkeeper and Adam_Atlantian. New ships, stations, characters and perhaps a few scenes will be placed here.

To begin with I reveal the YWS Caldwell. This is the most powerful starship in the YWS fleet. A large Carrier with numerous Javelin fighters launching from the bay. Nate's Flagship. (hints the name)

These look even better than all your other ones! I love how the little torpedos or whatever they are make shadows on the hull. The entire thing looks blended, and real.

My only negative comment is, on the first one, the red light by the stern doesn't look very glow-y, unlike the blue engine. I don't know what it is, either.

Hehe. Could you make the Peregrine next? :D

Kittens. The people in SPEW eat kittens (they're having a protest barbeque of kittens next week, if you're interested) but since they are infinitely humane, those in SPEW allow them to run freely within the gravitational orbit of the large mass (aka the spaceship).

Nice pics Adam. :D

Thanks Jenna and Stabby. I got a new program called.....(pause for ironic effect) Blender.

Uhh...No Snoink. You sick person. Though it gives me an idea for a SPEW weapon.....*laughs manically*

Since you inquired about the tiny things, this is a close up of the hull with a beter view of the fighters. Javelins. The YWS fleet's fighter ships.

P.S. I'm already on it, Jenna. :D

You don't eat kittens? How disappointing ...

Seriously, these are awesome. I still don't know how you have the patience to do it all!

The SPEW Peregrine. Captain: Jennafina

This is also the Raptor Class explorer vessel. The Peregrine is a bit more advanced with SPEW technology but the Raptors will run at anywhere from 250,000 to 500,000 points in game. Maybe less, that's just a rough estimate.

Well I'm sure many of you have said, "It's called the adventures of the Gryphon but where is the Gryphon?"

So here it is! A money shot and a side view. With engines to full power!

Original Mesh by Griffenkeeper. I just textured it and added the cannons and pulses.

you do it again and again and everytime, the stuff gets better.
these are really artistic and not to mention action-packed.the angles from which you've made the spaceships are totally interesting.
