Here's all of my chicken doodles (I think) from Christmas in July ~ these were super fun to make and I was curious what they'd all look like together. You'll notice that to save time (because I made 60 of these, so wanted to not spend too many days making them) I ended up re-using some elements, so the feet / wings / beaks are the same or just different size/colors in many of them, but I did have a specific user in mind for each one so tried to capture a little bit different personality in each one.
And then for whatever reason I felt like making the little chickens into a bigger chicken collage -

Just thought I'd collect some of these that weren't part of the Chickenmas in July Christmas in July or a Checklist Challenge Prize in one place because I enjoy them :3 I lost a few since I forgot to keep the links and didn't track them down. Sometime I think I'll make a collage of all the YWS birds I've made (maybe excluding chicken though; not sure).
A Chubby Tufted Titmouse for Christmas for YWS link (I think this is my fave yet with the colors + a good balance of messy vs realism with the rough outlining)
A Pair of Budgies for Liberty for her Bird Friends Nari & Blue link
Of course it would only make sense to make MailicedeNamedy a swan in honor of her signature bird choice!
most if not all chickens are poets, but some are also philosophers
And then here's a watercolor painting I did last month - based off of one of those "watercolor learning kits" you can find online (used "lets make art" for this one - and loved how it turned out!) I'd totally recommend checking out those kits if you like the idea of watercolor but aren't super familiar with it - the video / supplies make it very accessible to learn.

If you don't know it's impossible it's easier to do. And because nobody's done it before, they haven't made up rules to stop anyone doing that again, yet. — Neil Gaiman
