Hey guys! Okay so I figured it's time I hosted a NaNo event so this evening at 10pm GMT time, anyone who wants to take part, come along to chat and I will be running two sessions, both half an hour long and with a five or ten minute breather in between. The first session will begin at 10:05 so try to arrive on time but the only disadvantage to late comers is less time writing so feel free to join in late and see if you can catch up =)

It's also an opportunity for people to chatter about NaNo in general so even if you're not crazy enough to try the word wars, come along and talk!

If you're back late, scroll down and see if chat is still open anyway because I might keep it up longer if it proves to be popular =)

10:00 is about the time my mum starts moaning at me to come off the computer, so I'll try :)

Agh, poo... I'm going to be somewhere else exactly at that time. No Word War for me... *pouts*

Can we do another one later in the month? This sounds like it's going to be epic!

Good luck everybody!

Suzie won round one with 1,639 words!

And the second round was also won by Suz! This time with 1,734 words.

Third round went to Sachiko with a massive 1969 words!

Sachiko won round four as well with 935 words.

Anyone else see a pattern? And now I'll hand you over to Mesh...

And for this round!

Insomnia took the lead in the 20 minute word war at 987!

a 30 minute one starting in a few minutes!

And Insomnia takes the second one as well at 1404!

Conrad Rice takes the third war, coming in 1206 words!

And the fourth round goes to Conrad as well, coming in at 1200 again! Though it is to be noted that for the rest of us it was a close race, less than 100 words difference. And the Conrad came and blasted us all out of the water ;)
