So here's the deal. We all have unfinished stories on our hard drives or buried deep in the crumpled pages composition notebooks that we know that we'll never finish. Either because we don't like the idea much anymore, or because we ran a blank. Or for some other reason.

Regardless, wouldn't it be fun to see them finished? Wouldn't it be fun to finish someone else's?

So let's start up a Short Story Trade. The rules are simple. You must have an unfinished short story which you're willing to let someone else finish however they may. But please, don't insult us. Don't give us something you wrote in elementary school. Give us something malleable. Something that has some semblance of potential left in it.

Anyway, post a link to it here (or, if there is no link give a brief description and instruction for any interested writer to PM you for the text), and wait for someone to respond that they'd like to finish it. But only respond if you have a short story of your own. Because this is a trade. As soon as you have two interested parties, exchange work and start writing.

You may request a particular member to trade with.

You must put some thought into finishing your story.

The rights of a story belong to whomever would like them. If both writers would like to legally own a story, they must agree to enter into a co-ownership. We don't want any law suits here, people. :D

Anyway, have fun with this.

Ooh, interesting: I'll participate if anyone else is willing to! :)
