Evander McAuliffe.....oohhh this is harder than it looks. A gender would help but I'm assuming its a woman - with an interesting family history - McAuliffe sounds like the name of just the sort of noble family that might rebel. I'm thinking that she must be scottish or irish or not of this world.
The first name makes me think of "Neville", which reminds me of a nerd. The second name makes me think of a female elf from LOTR with long black hair and black eyes.
