I had this little niggly thing in the back of my head about SBs, then SirTobes crystallised the idea in his thread in the Lounge about characters in SBs. There are far too many pretty eighteen-year-old girls taking over the SBs. So, I decided to suggest an SB in which each person has to be a character in the gender opposite to their own, and because there are many more girls on YWS than guys, that would straighten out the gender ratio. Who is interested?

SirTobes suggested that I make an age limit of over-thirties to discourage a gang of teens, but I'm not sure about that one. I would rather make a range of ages that people can fill, like two spots for under-twenties, five for twenty to thirties, four for late-thirties to forties, two fifties and two over-sixties.

I don't know about a plot yet, but I'll find something exciting! Any thoughts and ideas welcome.

Woohoo!
You did it!
Your idea for ages sounds great. Let me know 'right?

Sounds intriguing. It'd depend on the story, of course, but I like the concept.

Okay, I have finally found my idea for a plot. In the middle of a mountaineering expedition, I found inspiration while clinging by my frost-bitten fingertips to a howling, sleeting cliff face. And I sorely missed my notebook and pen...

In the city of Tulitee on the banks of the Potage River, there will be crime. But, as the ruler, Lord Terrere says, rather organised crime than unorganised crime. For that reason the Guild of Thieves and, more importantly, the Guild of Assassins were established, to compete with the more orthodox Guilds of Artificers, Alchemists, Miners and Agriculturists, among others.

The Assassins' Guild has a strict code of secrecy, courteousness and above all, style. For what would an assassination be without hygiene, celerity and the elegant black clothing? But there is a new challenge: Lady Caput, with a 12 000 Tulitee Gold bounty on her head, has claimed the lives of three accomplished assassins at least. Who will be the next to attempt her?

In the highly acclaimed Assassins' School, where aristocratic parents send their darlings for the distinguished syllabus, and scholarship boys from the streets develop their deadly skills, bullying has reached an all-time high. At least some of the victims survive...

Young assassins, newly graduated, seek to overthrow the current director of the Guild, Lord Corteis (specialising in poisons and stealth). His second in command, Lady Trudi, has already disappeared. This internal power struggle threatens to upset the entire Guild.

Meanwhile, a certain unregistered assassin, known only as the Ochre Pimpernel, must watch his/her back. The Guild has heard about the Pimpernel's infamous exploits, and is searching for the illusive figure who blends into the city mists without a trace. Oh, and Lady Caput's bounty has risen to 15 000 Tulitee Gold.

If you are up for a fast-paced SB with lots of action and intrigue, this is for you. Oh, and if you didn't notice, your character must be of the opposite gender to yourself...

Any ideas welcome, and please post if you think it might work!
