The Ceberous Catastrophe

Luck is for the ill-prepared.

The plot:
Spoiler! :
You are aboard the R.M.S. Ceberous, a large Dreadnought class Warship, heading home after its maiden voyage to the Kol System, where the Melarians’ last hideout was located.

Determined to win the war and win it big, the Relohim Marine Force (or R.M.S. as it used to be called) wanted the victory short and sweet, and what better way to send the largest ship in their fleet?

After a long and furious battle, the R.M.S. were victorious, and the government assigned Cerberous the duty of “fuming” the planet, or firing a M.L. (Massive Laser) at the planet’s surface to overheat its climate and cause the planet’s ecosystem to die out.

Three weeks later, the ship and its crew are finally able to call the mission a success and start their journey home. Five and a half hours into its flight, though, the ship randomly jumped out of slip space into the middle of nowhere, abruptly beginning the crew’s day (for it was morning on their home and they go by that time).

Something was off for you, you could feel it in your bones, but you couldn’t quite tell what it was. However, being a part of a floating object in the middle of nowhere, things had to go on like normal. So you did your job like normal while the ship tried to get back into slip space (failing all attempts). The day went on like normal, as it had been for the last three months, with the exception of the slip space incident. However, as the day went on, something felt wrong, besides the obvious problem that Cerebous had.

As the time went on and most of the crew went to sleep, something did happen, and the ones awake (you included) experienced it. A shockwave riddled the ship, pulsing through its insides for a couple of minutes until all was quiet once again.

The next morning, you wake up to the ship in slip space once again. As the day goes on, you feel something in your bones that, once again something was wrong. As time went on, you felt it harder for you to remember what happened the day before until you realize that the exact same things were happening as they did the day before. You, and the rest of the ship, had been caught in some kind of time loop, for who knows how long, but you and the rest of the crew who had been awake to witness the shockwave the night before remember the events before.

It is now your responsibility to find out how long this has been happening, who else knows about it, how it’s happening, and most importantly how to get out of it. Good luck.

The Characters:
Spoiler! :
Here’s a list of characters that I will allow you to be. I will split them into two groups: The Awake and the Asleep. These were the people who were either awake or asleep during the time of the Shockwave, which will then alter the way they are written.

The Awake:

The Chief Engineer (7th in charge of the ship): @Aquestioning
The Chef:
The Pilot:
The Prisoner: @ReisePiecey

The Asleep:

The Captain:
The Doctor:
