Amberton is hidden from the average eye. Only those known as Storytellers can reach this hidden town. And only via there own special transportation. Yes some mortals have reached this great town, but only a few lost English majors, and they have promised to keep the secret.

Amberton is no ordianry town. Surrounded by acres of golden grasses Amberton sits. With her cobblestone streets and charming little shops with each an awning of a specific color and a sign to show which it is. In the streets are people with clothes of any kind and vehicles unimaginable to the average human. Ostrichs, are very in season this week. :smt003

And who lives in this town? Who are these STORYTELLERS? They are not wizards or witches, they are merely humble writers and readers. Well, maybe not. Each of them has a gift given to them only by birth. Their gift is the ability to write in the book of life. The book of life is THE story. Every story, of every person who ever lived and who ever will live, bound in who knows what.

Here in Amberton everyone is related to the Elders. A race that created the book with only one drawback to their limit-less power. They must follow the rules that they created. But one day many many many.....(well lot's of manys) years ago the Elder named James married a human and they had a baby girl named Jaime, after her father. And sense then the ability to write has been passed down through the ages. Only these writers had the one thing the Elders didn't have, IMAGINATION.

Now before you can enter the glorious life as a Storyteller. You must visit Amberton School for instruction to learn the basics.

ABILITIES
Spoiler! :
Editing-
Your most basic ability. Though every Storyteller has a natural affliction to literature the one way to tell if a Storyteller is genuine is either shove him or her though the gate and see if he spontaneously combusts, then if he or she does ask him to picture a book and write something in it, such as "a rabbit ate my left boot" and if a rabbit eats their left boot you know they can edit. It's the only and best way to write in the book of life. This ability should manifest at age 13.

This class will be taught by Professor Green

Memorizing-
Only for the most advanced, do not try at home. The idea is you come up with a phrase you know works to do something via editing, then you keep repeating that for days on end until finally you can call up that phrase anytime you want without haveing to borrow your friends napkin everytime you want to do that thing.

Creating a Dimension-
SUPER DANGEROUS, do NOT try anywhere. Very talented Storytellers can try to do this accurately once they reach an age where they are comfortable dying at. The Storyteller can create a story that they can mentally walk in and write just by thinking about what needs to happen. But be warned it is common for characters to escape these dimensions. Such as Voldemort when Harry Potter Seven came out. WHAT A MESS THAT WAS! Also an unstable dimension could allow anything to come out. Werewolves, vampires, Doppelgängers, and sea monsters may occur.

Brainstorming-
Warning: Not possible. In theory, by "marking" another Storyteller you could take their power away and use it to write in the book of life without the use of memorizing. But this method is highly rude to fellow Storyteller.

CREATURES
Spoiler! :
Omniscient-
Certain Storytellers have been given the power of sight by the Elders. 2 for every generation. They can see everything from the third point of view and they can sometimes give us prophecies that totally suck beacuse no matter what they say they must come true or the world around us with literally tear itself apart. We know that because we heard it in a prophecy. The school has one Omniscient employed, Regina, to sort students into proper groups.

Walking Sidewalks-
They swear alot but they will take you where you want to go with out having to walk. They're basically slabs of gray with stubby gray legs and big hate-filled eyes, just ignore if possible.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Spoiler! :
Headmaster: Black (that's his name) he looks in his twenties, but he's really in his first hundred. Course he was born on a leap year for he's really in his sixth hundred. Just ignore him, he likes to be silly.
Editing teacher: Professor Green, she likes bright clothes and make-up, that,s all you need to know.
History teacher: Professor Landers, he likes to play with weapons in class
Invisiblity teacher: Professor Garrett Mills, he doesn't like to speak and he turns invisible alot, you just have to learn his language
The school is separated into five groups. Chameleons who specialize in transforming things and Science Fiction, Dragons who specialize in fighting and Action. Crickets who specialize in music, art, and fantasy, monkeys, who like nonfiction and realistic fiction. And finally Ravens, who are a mixture of everything. Only everyone hates thema nd Ravens are the school symbol. They're like Gryffindor and Hufflepuff mixed together.

The Library- endless, and it contains EVERY book, except the Book of Life. Of course
The Cafeteria- also endless. With food-court style buffets and marble tables.
The Halls- marble floors, stairs edited to keep you from falling down them and impossible windows
Dorms- shared by four-three girls OR boys. Self-cleaning bathrooms, picture laundry services, puzzle locked chests and common rooms with lots of comfy chairs.

Oh, did I mention that it,s bigger on the inside?
Sometimes it's nice to just laugh at yourself!
I should know, I do it all the time!
