Apperance: She has blonde hair and blue eyes. She has pale skin and rose red lips. She stands at about 5'7 and she is thin. She always wears her hair tied up in a braid and modest about her clothing.
Personality: She is a very cheerful girl and she loves giving to people. She is selfless and would do anything for others. She does not mind being by herself, but would rather be with other people. She is a very simple minded girl and does not care do question things. She is very peaceful and happy. She is always calm and does not like when things go wild.. She hates doing wrong. You can always tell when something has gone wrong as she always feels so horrible when she messes up.
History: She grew up in Abnegation and is still there. The thought never crossed her mind at all to move. She has always loved helping people and putting others before the life of her own. Even though she is going to be tested, she might not change her mind to stay.

Other: She always wears a ring that her mom gave her. It is just a simple silver band. She will choose to live in Amity.

Name: Alexa Rowe (Pronounced- R-O)

Current Faction: Candor
Appearance: Long unruly platinum blond hair, and deep green eyes that've always held a mischievous glint. She's tall for a girl, fair skinned and athletic. She has her fair share of curves and is arguably very beautiful. But a large ugly scar stretches up her leg from her ankle to mid thigh.
Personality: Alexa was never cut out to be a Candor. She was far too skilled and fond of lying. And though she valued the honesty of her fellow friends and family, she firmly believed that there were some things people were not meant to know. That being said, years of being taught to search for the truth in whatever way she could has made her very skilled in persuasion. She's also argumentative, observant, an infamous practical joker, extremely sarcastic, and a complete rebel; Alexa hates authority, and almost all rules, regulations and/or laws.
To add on to that, she's extremely over protective of her friends, and very nonjudgemental; But if your her enemy, you'd better watch your back.
Overall Alexa is a generally content and independent person, and she could care less what anybody thought of her.
History: Alexa had been a rebel since day one. She told her first lie at age 3, snuck out at night and graffitied some surrounding office buildings at age 7. She jumped off of one into a shallow lake, on a dare at age 13, dyed all her white blouses bright red at age 14,and...
She shot a man at age 15. (Yes, you heard me right).
Alexa'd been walking home at night after yet another one of her nightly expeditions, when she decided to take a short-cut through an alleyway.
Then she heard the scream. A young Abnegation girl was pinned against the wall by a large dark figure. Alexa didn't think, she just did. Rushing up behind the man she grabbed the gun from his hand before he had time to react. She pointed to at him. He turned to face her, smiling with crooked teeth."You're not gonna shoot that are you darlin'?" His faced went cold as he moved towards her,"You don't have the guts." Alexa met his gaze steadily.
She pulled the trigger.
Up for Love? She's a total flirt, but she's never really made anything of her relationships. In all truth, nobody even really knows her. So, yes, straight. But good luck trying to break the ice-princess.

Name: Rory 'Blade' Mckinson

Appearance:

Loose, black hair. Green, thoughtful eyes and a pale complexion. Handsome and fair, but his eyes cruel. Lean but not buff.

Personality:

Rory is quiet and quick to judge, preferring to stand back and take hold off things then be a leader. Because he spends so much time away from people he is a little crazy, and mostly cynical and quick to take insults.


History:

Rory was an orphan, living on the streets untill his great-uncle Dale adopted him. Everyone thought he would be in Erudite, because of his intellect and when he found out he was a Divergent he ran away from home. He lives in and underground warehouse, only going up I to the world to train and collect paper to write on. Brilliant with a sword.

Five rings around her right ankle.

Brief History
Born Amity, Caroline never felt right among the girls. She always had this deep seated anger for the lack of structure among the Amity and that no one really solved the problems that she had. So when she had the chance, she transferred to Dauntless (much to the dismay of her family, but she didn't care). When they were on the train she was teased and made fun of for being "a little Amity girl" - but she proved her worth quickly among her transfer partners and even the Dauntless born candidates when she was the first jumper. She had particularly the roughest time of all the transfers because she was an Amity before because everyone thought she couldn't handle being a Dauntless. But there was a fire awakened in her, and she became completely determined and she beat all of the other transfers in the competition. The leaders renamed her Cray because of her qualities of becoming a "crazy bad ass". She now serves as a very respected Dauntless higher up and leading the transfers under Annamarie.
Up for love Sure - She's an adventurous bisexual
Other She keeps many knives on her person at all times.
She's a hard ass and amazingly proud and dedicated Dauntless on the outside, but she's still a soft hearted and gentle friend when you get to know her. She's very lovey when she finds a significant other (girls/guys are generally surprised when she initiates a relationship with them because of this).

Brief History Brother to Caroline Westby; Erin is Amity born. Growing up like his sister he didn't have the best social skills and didn't really fit in with the Amity boys. He also had a deep seated dislike for the Amity, but only because his mind, prodigious curiosity, and unquenchable thirst for knowledge was never satisfied by the Amity. So when the time came to choose his faction - he jumped straight in with the Erudite while his sister headed for Dauntless. His family was crushed, but much like his sister; he couldn't possible care. He excelled in the Erudite initiation, quickly and effortlessly passing over the Erudite-born candidates. His intellect was unexpectedly high for an Amity - glittering him in the eye of the Erudite leader.
Up for love Yes - but he's very awkward. Currently questioning.

Appearance: Beach-blonde hair, freckles, green eyes, an upturned noes, and dark eyebrows and and eyelashes. Always wears red plaid and red hightop converse and usually has a guitar, banjo, or ukulele strapped to his back.

Brief History: Flynn was born and raised Amity. However, when he was young, his parents were exiled from Amity for being "un-peaceful." From that moment on, Flynn was raised by his Aunt Fiona and was the center of subtle ridicule among Amity members. The choice to leave Amity has been a constant inner-battle for Flynn because he loves his faction and what it stands for, however he wishes to escape the past.

Up for love:Always. As the Amity saying goes, "Make love, not war." (Flynn is straight)

Other: Flynn is very musically talented and is always found whistling or humming a melody.

Current Faction Abnegation (but he is a divergent and he may be thinking of joining the dauntless)

Appearance Dante is overall attractive. He has really curly light brown hair that constantly falls into his eyes (its so light that it almost looks blonde) . He has wide doe eyes, that are a mixture of blue green, and has deep dimples. He is 6'3, and his body is lean and well muscled, with wash board abs and all of that jazz.

Brief History Dante, was raised very well and is naturally and abnegation. He grew up well and loves his parents and little brother dearly. He's charismatic, and people usually love him immediately after meeting him. He's usually seen in smiles, and it's pretty hard to make him angry, but when he is he usually gets very quiet and seethes, but doesn't really hold a grudge. It's not hard to make friends with him, but when you do, he wouldn't mind risking his life for you.

Other He's a bit of a flirt, and hates hurting peoples' feelings. When he does he gets majorly apologetic, and will probably fall over himself to make someone feel better.

Name: Zoe Pond

Age: 16 (She will be choosing her faction soon!)

Current Faction: Candor

Appearance: Zoe has Dark brown hair that falls to her shoulders and is naturally curly. She has a light complexion and large, milk chocolate eyes. She is fairly tall at 5' 5" and is a bit chunky. She can be seen in her standard candor black and white, black dress pants and a white blouse, with a pair of black character shoes, a black leather jacket, and a black and white headband on her head with her hair down.

Personality: Zoe is extremely kind and caring towards others. Although she always speaks her mind, she is not rude about it. She is pretty smart, and helps others out. She tries not to be too selfish and to do as much as she can for others. She is very blunt, so some people mistake her for a jerk, though she's not. Zoe is not very girly, but just like most girls, she hs a small hint of it in her somewhere, but she is for the most part a tomboy.

Brief History: Although she grew up in Candor, both of her parents are originally from Abnegation; so she has been raised similarly to Abnegation children, except she was told to speak the truth, to say what's on her min. Also, her parents allowed her to look in the mirror, and she was required to wear black and white, but that's where the differences end. Her parents, bringing her up in an Abnegation style, didn't allow her to speak much, unless asked a direct question. They were always strict to both of her brothers, her sister, and her. They were overly strict, some would say, especially to Zoe. They favored her siblings over her, and demanded perfection, beating her often. She's not completely sure which faction she wants to choose, she just knows that she can't stay in Candor, not with her parents. Her older brother and sister are twins, both 18; Her sister went to Amity, her brother to Dauntless. Her younger brother is 15, he will be choosing his faction next year, but has his heart set on Erudite. Zoe's older brother was always pretty protective of her, which he never needed to be, she's always been pretty brave, but so was he, that's why he chose Dauntless. She hasn't seen him since. Her parents were outraged when her siblings left, refusing to visit them on Visiting Day, and disowning them, they haven't spoken since they left. You would think that since both of her parents were transfers that they would be supportive of their faction choices, but they claim that they left for good reasons. Zoe definitely has one.

Up for love: Yes, she could use someone to talk to since she doesn't have many friends. She is straight.

Anything Else: She has trust issues. She has never experienced love or been in a relationship, but she really wants to be in one.

Appearance: Troy is ttall and slim. He has a light complexion and hair so dark it is almost black. His hair is kind of short. He can be seen in black jeans, with a black T-shirt, black high-top sneakers, and a black leather jacket he wears to remind him of his sister, Zoe. He is very muscular and well built. Hes has a small silver hoop through his right eyebrow and one through his nose. He has a few tattoos: the dauntless symbol overlapping the Candor symbol on his left shoulder blade, the Amity symbol with the name Julianne under it on his left arm for his twin sister; a brain with the name Jeremy under it on his right ankle for his brother; and an eagle with the name Zoe under it for his sister, on his collar bone, facing so it is flying to his heart.

Personality: Troy looks out for others. He is selfless and brave, and up to any challenge or dare. He isn't the smartest, but he is street smart. He excels at hand to hand combat, but isn't bad with a weapon either, especially a knife; but it's not like he would ever use them on someone unless 100% necessary. He is a kind and caring person and is very protective of those he loves, especially his younger sister Zoe, but he hasn't seen or heard from her since he left Candor, but he knows that's just because his parents won't let her. He holds a grudge if you anger him, but that's hard to do, even though he gets frustrated easily. He doesn't like to show it when something is bothering him.

Name: Katherine (Kakki) Hajimaru

Gender: Female

Age: 16

Current Faction: Factionless, (But will sneak into one of the factions with the initiates during the choosing ceremony :3)

Appearance: She has bright silky brown/red hair that reaches to the middle of her back which she always keeps up in a loose bun or in a ponytail. Her eyes are Hazel and always bright with curiosity and energy. She looks pretty thin but it actually incredibly strong (freakishly so <u>'') She's about 5'5'' and is actually quite flat-chested.
She normally wears tattered jeans, sneakers if she can find them (barefoot if not), and whatever shirt she can find, more often than not a T-Shirt.

Personality: She's extremely energetic, curious, and adventurous. If she wants to find out something/sets her mind on something, she does it. Always going head first into everything she does she isn't afraid of anything, which can be both good and bad. If she has a problem with someone, she lets them know. And loudly. She never compromises her beliefs, and is incredibly free-spirited.
Being raised completely differently, she has a different view point from most of the people in the factions which has the potential to land her in trouble, since she almost doesn't know how to hide her beliefs. Or when to. (Basically, she's 100% divergent and doesn't know how to keep quiet about it <u>'') She is also a little (very) uneducated and only knows basic math, a little reading/writing, and some random facts she picked up from a few of the other factionless. She has very little regard for 'rules' and may often sneak out/be where she's not supposed to be if she pleases.
She can be a bit of an airhead on occasion but usually has a firm grip on the situation. On occasion it is revealed that she can be incredibly wise but that can be almost overshadowed by how childlike she can be as well. Sometimes it's like she doesn't think things through, but she is the kind of person who likes to play life by ear. Despite her spontaneous nature she truly cares for those close to her and is extremely loyal to her 'family' (Which is anyone who is as close to her as a family would be).

Brief History: Her name is actually just Kakki; Katherine Hajimaru a name she and some of the other factionless came up with to help her blend in with the others.
As mentioned above, she's actually factionless; born and raised away from the factions. She never knew her parents, but since they were good people many of the other factionless adopted/raised her as a small community. And it took a whole community to raise her. She was a handful; Always curious and always moving, loud and questioning.
When she was old enough she started living in a place by herself (whereas before she had jumped around from little family/group to group) which is a little multi-story abandoned/half broken shop in the city. She has a special attachment to it (and might be tempted to go back and visit it once or twice in the course of the storybook.) Despite her home not being too close to many others, she still often goes out and spends her time with her 'family' whom she helps in any way she can. From babysitting (she loves little kids) to gathering food to acting as a nurse; she's done it all for the sake of those around her and she's incredibly attached to them.
Of course, being factionless she has had to fight for her life on occasion, but she never had to as much as some others have since she was almost always able to get away. It never seemed to harden her as it had to many others; she always retained her adventurous spirit. She mostly spent her time wandering the ruins of the city, climbing and exploring.
She eventually became very interested in the factions and one day decided she wanted to see what life was like for them, even if just for a while. Despite protest from some of her 'family', they helped her fulfill this wish. For the past year they've tried to teach her some of the ways of the factions, especially the few who had been kicked out at initiations that were willing to speak to her (as most keep to themselves as much as possible). After hearing about all the factions she decided on Dauntless, mostly because they seem to be the most energetic/move around the most.
During the choosing ceremony she will sneak in with the Dauntless initiates, pretending to have been from Amity.

Up for love: Yes (but good luck keeping up with her energetic spirit >u>) She's the kind of person who waits for a legit/lasting love. She's not desperate, but won't fight it if real love stumbles across her path. She'll never settle for just a one night thing, nor date just to date. (She's straight :3)

Other: Despite being given a false but more common sounding name, she will probably still have others call her Kakki.

Luke


Luke sat in the small white room preparing for the evaluations. He heard the loud voices from the cafeteria and he was very existed to get started. Brushing back his long black hair he straightened his yellow shirt and let the first one in.

"Hi, I'm Luke." Luke said as the tall boy walked in. Abnegation. "You must be Dante Everborn."

Dante nodded and straighten his grey turtleneck. Luke leaned the chair back so the boy was now fully on his back.

"Will this hurt?" Dante asked brushing a stray hair out of his eyes.

"Not much," Luke admitted picking up the long needle. He attacked electrons to Dante's forehead then the other end to his. "Ready"

Dante slowly nodded and Luke slid the long needle perfectly into his neck. The world spinner then he saw Dante standing in a large room. The table next to him had a knife and a block of cheese. A dog starts running towards him as a little girl goes over to let it. Dante instantly picks up the knife and the girl and flips the table. He hides behind the table shielding the girl in his arms the knife in his hands.

I can't believe it. Luke thinks while he pulls Dante out of the simulation.

"You okay?" Luke asked the now painting Dante who is now sitting straight up in the chair his knees the his chest. He nods and puts his knees down and calms down.

"So what am I?" Dante asks leaning forward.

"Your both Abnagation and Dauntless." Luke replies still in awe from what he saw. Dante's eyes grow wide and he nods. "Your divergent, as some might say."

"Uh okay," Dante replies looking confused.

"it's very dangerous, you can't tell anyone about it." Luke says a very serious look on his kind face. Dante nods as he stands to leave.

"Be, careful." Luke says in a stern voice before he leaves. Luke quickly fills out the sheet leaving the Divergent part blank and waits for the next person to come in.

Annamarie "Daredevil Tactician" Blanco - Dauntless Compound

I sit at my desk in my room as I go though recent camera footage from the last three days, I finally stop the footage just as I see a guy jump into the riven that went under Dauntless compound. I watch the guy stop in midair, I had a lot on my plate, I had to deal with initiates, the Divergent, and other things like watching out for my comrades around me. I put my head down in my arms as I huff a deep sigh as I was tired and it was only noon, maybe a nap would do me good. I hear a knock at my door, and then pick up my head.

"Who is it?" I call out.

"It's me Anna," I heard.

Cray, a member of my Initate class, and Ms. #1 for my class, with me being second and another guy being third. I get up from my desk and walk over to the door unlocking it, the first thing to catch my eye was the small red star under her left eye. Then her fiery red hair and her bright beautiful smile, that always somehow, brightened my day.

"Hey come on in," I say to her.

She walks in and I close the door relocking it behind her, she walks over to my desk and see's the footage I had been studying for the last few hours.

"Reviewing security footage I see," she said.

"Yeah, just to ensure yesterday mornings jumper was not killed and it was an actual suicide, as far as I can find it really was a suicide." I said.

I walk back over to my desk and click rewind on the computer rewinding the time on the footage, "he stands there at the edge for almost fifteen minutes, he must've had way to many demons," I said.

"I see, sounds like this is case closed," she said.

"Yeah pretty much," I said as I shut the program down and log off, my computer was password protected no one would be able to figure out, a very long, very complicated password. Once done I turn to look at Cray, and smile, she was beautiful.

"So how are you doing?" I ask her.

She walks over and plops down on my bed without second thought.

"I'm fine, I heard you volunteered to lead the Initiates in Initiation why interest in them?" she asked.

"Necessary, it's for the Divergent, and this way I can catch anyone who might be Divergent," I said.

"Divergent like you, right?"

"Yeah, if I can find them, I can protect them I risk a lot by doing this but to protect them from the factions, it'll be worth it." I said.

I walk over to a book shelf stuffed to the brim with books, it took so much work the fence each of these books between the Erudite and Dauntless. So much time talking with sources to get these into Dauntless and not a word being said about all of this, so much work. I don't even get enough time to read any of the new ones I recently fenced in the last month, I breath, so much work, not enough me. Without looking, I walk over to my bed, and sit down next to her, I look for the remote that was on my bed for the TV. But my hand catches Cray's the remote in her hand. I look away to see this and I swear Cray was blushing.

Alexa~Choosing Day

At first I only hear a faint muttering amongst my faction as I join the other Dauntless Initiates. I'm almost there when the heart wrenching cries of my mother pierce through the crowd.

"Alexa! No! Please! Not my baby." I turn back to see her being dragged away by a few women from Candor; The other factions remain silent.

When I turn back a Dauntless boy blocks my path.

" 'Scuse me." I mutter. I try to push past him, but he continues to block my path.

"What's the matter, aren't you gonna go back to your mommy?" I brush off his pitiful attempt at an insult, and try again to shove past him. This time he grabs hold of my arm.

Fury flashes through me. "Don't touch me."I growl. He just laughs, and so I do what any sensible Dauntless girl would do; I wrench my arm from his grip and kick him onto his back. On the way down his head hits the wall and he lets out a string of profanity.

"What was that for? I was just kidding around."

Of coarse, I know he's lying and I can only glare at him as he struggles to his feet. " Sorry, guess I didn't get the joke."

The boy retreats to the back of the group, his pride most obviously wounded. I glance around to see the effect of my outburst on my fellow Initiates. I see a large mix of both approval and bewilderment. Which is good; At least, I think it's good. I do my best to stand tall and strong as I watch the number of Dauntless Initiates steadily increase.

All too aware that most of them would soon be living on the streets. Factionless, and as good as dead.

I close my eyes and silently pray I won't be joining them.
