Part 1: The Chariots Posting is due today.
Kurr, District 11 Mentor

Kurr sighed inwardly as he watched the Districts slowly being pulled out of the Remake Center and into the Capitol streets. The thought had just settled in his mind that Reed and Edur had already begun the Games, in a way. Sponsors were beginning to place bets as they watched the twenty-four kids parade through the roads until they arrived at the Training Center. So that meant that the tributes' chances of survival were either strengthening or weakening. Kurr remembered being told that getting a sponsor was one of the most vital things you need in the Hunger Games.
Fear gripped him as little Reed turned in her chariot to wave to him, before being engulfed in the lights and sounds of the Capitol. She was so young, too innocent. A burning desire to try even harder to keep these two kids alive for as long as he possibly could filled him. He promised himself to not give up. He had to help tough Edur and sweet Reed live throughout the Games. Kurr had a feeling, however, that his kids this year were strong. They were smart, they were quick, and they had a shot at being the victor.
Then the doors shut, blocking off the outside city, leaving Kurr and his fellow mentors and designers inside the Center. He relaxed his shoulders, still staring the giant gate. A soft hand touched his arm, followed by a female's voice. He turned and saw the District One mentor standing beside him.
"I'm worried about mine, too," she said, looking up at him.
Kurr realized she was talking about her tributes. "I can tell you have a good group this year," he responded.
She sighed and dropped her gaze to the floor. "I hate being here. It feels like I'm reliving the Games." She paused. "In a way, I guess I am."
"I know what you mean. And being a mentor and watching your tributes die is like watching your own children..." He trailed off and offered his hand for a shake. "I'm Kurr, District 11."
The other mentor studied him, before smiling sweetly. "I'm Fern. We can take the shuttle together to the Training Center, if you'd like," she offered.
Kurr smirked handsomely and flexed his large arm muscles. "After you," he replied politely.
Spoiler! :
I'm posting the order of deaths on the DT in a minute. Go check it out! I also need help with something...
And Sunshine, I was thinking that handsome Kurr and beautiful Fern could become friends.

Nya: District 4: Part 1, after the chariot ride

I got off of the chariot and sighed. I got a lot of whistles and cheers from the crowds tonight and was pretty proud of myself, in sponsers terms I should be good. I started walking toward the exit door when I noticed that boy from chariot one. He was heading towards the chariot I had been in and seemed to be looking for something. I smiled coolly walked up behind him. Standing on my tippy toes and putting my lips next to his ears, I said, "Hey glitter boy, looking for someone?"

He started and turned around looking slightly surprised, but his coy smile quickly erased that look. "Yeah, I saw you checking me out earlier, what did you want?"

I put my hand on my hip in mock objection."As I recall, you were checking me out. And I was just sizing up my opponents, looking for allies."

"Did you find anyone you were interested in?"

I sashayed closer. "Maybe." I teased him with a smile.

He crossed his muscled arms over his chest and leaned against the chariot. "What can you offer me?" He asked, acting like he didn't care, but oh I know he wanted me.

I moved my face closer to his. "I'm strong, smart, know how to use a knife. And I'm a strong swimmer and a fairly fast runner."

"Hm, I suppose I might..."

By now, our lips were only an inch away. "You need me," I said convincingly. Then suddenly I moved away and spun on my heel. "I'll think about it," I said over my shoulder as walked away, acting as if he was the one doing the asking. That's the key, keeping the boys wanting.

Part 1: The Chariots, afterward
Reed Willomon, District 11 Female

When the chariots pulled into the Training Center, the tributes' home until the Hunger Games, she felt sleepiness overcome her. She hopped off of the chariot, looking around for her mentor. She met the gaze of someone else, instead. The District 9 boy, she didn't remember his name, was staring at her with a small smile playing across his lips. It wasn't one of those fake, plastered grins, it was real and genuine.
Reed returned the sweet smiled and waved. She glanced over to the District 1 chariot and saw the 1 boy and 4 girl talking, standing way too close together. The small girl let out a disgusted sigh; she really didn't like it when the Career girls used sexiness as one of their weapons. The District 9 boy followed her gaze and made a gagging motion, making Reed giggle.
Gliding over to the tribute, Fiske, she recalled, she chewed her full lips nervously.
"Hi," Reed said.
"Hey, yourself." He smirked, his emerald eyes glittering like the gem tree on Reed's cheek.
Before either of them could actually start a conversation, they were suddenly whisked away by their mentors to their living quarters on the assigned floor. Reed shot a glance at Fiske as the twenty-four tributes were being moved, and he seemed slightly sad. They exchanged beams, right before Fiske mouthed, "See you later."
Reed was filled with happiness. She had probably just found an ally.

After all was done, Veronica ran as fast as her feet could carry her to find her tributes. She was never to fond of crowds. " Excuse me. Please let me get through." She was not that big. People easily took her to the ground. She was on the ground trying to get up, but no one even took a second look at her. All of a sudden someone grabed her by the arm and pulled her up.
" Are you ok?" said Ryder.
"Yeah, just fine. Just getting a better view from the ground. I think here in the Capitol, it is a sign of respect to knock people over and not help them up."
"Well, sorry to disrespect you then." They laughed together.
"You two did great. You looked like you belonged here. You had great confidence. That was more than what they wanted. Say hello to sponsers."
" Thanks, I was hoping I did ok. I was worried we would looked horrible." he said.
" Look, I know it was not easy. You will wonder if they liked you, if you were good enough, will I get sponsers. Yes it is great to have sponsers, but the thing you need to be more worried about is getting ready for the games. I will get you sponsers, I promise. But first, we need to find the girl. She is smaller that me, no telling what she has been through."
" Oh she went back to her room. She said she was not feeling to well. She said she had to much of the capitol for one night."
" I remember going through this. I mean it is hard for girls, but for guys it is a contest before the games even start. All the guys think you have to be the strongest to win these games. Let me tell you strong does not win always. Smart can beat the strong easily. But lets not talk about that now, we should get some rest, big day tomorrow.''
"Veronica, thank you. Thank you for helping me."
"No problem, I really did not do anything. I brought out the you that wants to be out. Ryder you are not as shy as you think."
"I know, but it is good that I can trust you becuase you are all I have."
"I will do everything in my power to get you out of here. All I need you to do is trust me,and you do. Everything will be fine. I promise."
"How can you be sure." he looks at her sadly.
She puts her hand on his sholder. " Well I am me, and me know what it takes. You have something about you that people love. You are a great person and you know what you are doing. Lets go get some rest. We have more than enough time to talk about this later. It is doing you or me no good talking about it now. If you need anything at all I am one room down from you. That is where I will be all night. Oh, Ryder, try the hot chocolate. Best thing I have ever had in my life. Help you get your mind of things." Veronica waves him goodbye and heads up to her room to get sleep for the long morning ahead.

Des- District 10

Des stepped off the chariots, rubbing at the dirt in her eyes. None of the sponsors were looking, right?

"You probably don't want to do that. It'll make it burn worse."

She looked up and blinked. In front of her was a grizzly man with wispy greying hair and sharp eyes. Des gulped and tried to shrink out of sight.

"S-sorry."

"Kid, if you want to survive you're going to have to toughen up and stand out. District 10 has never won a Hunger games match before now."

"And they probably never will," her counterpart muttered bitterly. She hadn't noticed that he had come up from behind.

"With that attitude, yeah. C'mon, let's get you two settled in and we'll start work ASAP. The name's Ilija, I'm your mentor."

Des started plucking at the fur lining of her dress and shifted uncomfortably. He seemed to notice his tribute's anxiety and knelt down to eye level. "I've seen too many of these games. I promise, I'm going to do my best to keep you alive."

"You can't promise that," Des dared to say softly.

"I can try. I've already got sponsors lined up for you two."

"Really?" asked the male tribute. I wish I could remember his name. thought Des.

"Yes. And we'll get even more later. Just do your best, make some allies, and don't forget to duck."

With that he turned and left, though she thought they were supposed to follow him. She looked around the Training Center and caught the eyes of the District 11 boy. He winked before turning away. Des looked away and blushed, twisting the feather stuck in her hair.
"Oh please don't tell me you're archaeologists."

"Do you have a problem with archaeologists?"

"I'm a time traveler. I laugh at archaeologists."

Alen Hayward District 8

getting off the chariot was harder then it looked for I was all most gone in to a unconscious state but just before I fell my mentor got me." Alen can you wake up i'm not going to carry you up to the floor" said the mentor
I started to come back slowly looking at the other tributes where looking at him in confusion on what happened. "Alen are you ok you just went down hard out of the chariot and i was worried about you" said Luce looking very worried.
"Well i'm ok now and i think i should get some rest before we start training but lets talk about alliances o the way up" said Alen
They walked to the elevator and thank goodness there was no one in it to hear there plans. "I was thinking about district 7, 9 would be good because there look like a bunch that are strong and smart and I think use being district 8 in the middle would help" said Alen.
"We will have to talk to them tomorrow then and see what happens" said Luce.
Alen and Luce got to there floor and Alen went straight to a door with his name on it and when to bed.

Bronze Synclas, District 1 ~ Part 1, After The Chariot Ride

Suddenly, as I was searching for the District 4 girl, I heard a soft voice next to my ear, "Hey glitter boy, looking for someone?"

I turned, a little surprised at the voice, but covered over my emotions with a coy smile, as I saw it was the District 4 girl.

"Yeah, I saw you checking me out earlier, what did you want?" I said, keeping a slight smirk off of my face. I kind of wanted her to like me, I needed her as an ally, especially if she was quiet enough to sneak up on me. Although, there were a lot of people around, so maybe it hadn't been that hard to catch me off-guard.

"As I recall, you were checking me out. And I was just sizing up my opponents, looking for allies." She said, putting on a false defensive tone and placing a hand on her hip.

I grinned, admitting I had been checking her out. "Did you find anyone you were interested in?"

She stepped closer to me. "Maybe..."

I needed to step back. Get my wits about me.
I leaned against the chariot and smirked. "What can you offer me?" Fish-Girl.

She stood taller and moved her face closer to mine, I felt a rush of adrenaline as she was just inches away.

"I'm strong, smart, know how to use a knife. And I'm a strong swimmer and a fairly fast runner." She stated.

I gave her another appraising look as she stared deeply into my eyes, trying to seduce me, as I knew she'd like to.

"Hm, I suppose I might..." I started.

"You need me," She said, in a convincing tone. Then, she spun away on her heel and walked off. "I'll think about it."

I brushed a hand through my hair and laughed. The girl had guts, that was for sure. But did I really want to work with someone that cocky?

Maybe. I guess the real question was, though, did I want her as an enemy?

After the chariot ride, Fern brought me and Stella to our room in the Training Center. It wasn't too bad, but a bit less than I was used to.

Fern sat us down and started to explain how the training would go.

Part 2: Training Center, Arrival/Dinner Posting for this part will be due Feb. 29th

Reed Willimon, District 11 female tribute

She nervously slid into the crystal elevator, followed by a couple other tributes and the District 11 mentor. Reed took in a deep breath, calming herself. It made her a bit uneasy to be in a closed space with the people who were probably going to end up killing her in the next days. She dismissed all thoughts about the Games and turned to face the back clear wall of the elevator. As Reed studied the men and women on the bottom level shrinking into ants, they were shot up, up, and up to the housing tower. Turning back to the group of kids and mentors, she scanned the heads for Fiske's. She was halfway disappointed when she didn't see him, realizing he must have taken another lift. The girl yawned, tiredness engulfing her, taking over her muscles and brain. She tried to fight off the feeling, but all that she could think about was a nice, fluffy bed. It was better than plotting ways to bring death to the kids around her.
The elevator's low hum paused briefly as the machine stopped, its sliding doors moving aside to reveal floor two of the Training Center's tower. Both District 2 tributes exited followed by their mentor and representative. The same process went by with Districts 3, 5, 6, 10, and finally 11.
Reed and Edur followed Kurr down their long hallway that branched off into rooms. Reed claimed hers, waltzing in the open doors and collapsing on the giant, plush bed. It seemed to swallow up the small girl as she fingered the silver stitching designs in the white and deep purple quilt she was laying on. The cool comforter felt good against her skin, and before she knew it, she was dozing off.
---
"Hellooo? Reed Willimon, are you in there? I know you are, silly girl!" Her representative's peppy Capitol accent and the heavy knock at the door was enough to awaken Reed from her light slumber.
She groaned groggily and wiped her eyes, sitting up on the king bed. "Yes, ma'am? What is it, Remilda?" she replied, scooting her feet down to touch the floor. Remilda was the escort for District 11, excited, bubbly, but very smart. In a handful of ways, she's unlike the rest of the Capitol. Then again, in another handful, she was. Reed liked her well enough.
"Dinner time!" Remilda called just outside of the massive bedroom. Reed hopped off of the bed and scampered to the mahogany door, pulling it open.
Her escort smiled as stated in a sing-song type of voice, "Your mentor has a plan for you and Edur!"

Khan: District 7: Part 2

Dinner was awkward. Both me and Malaya were the quiet type and simply chewed our food in silence. The silence was so intense that you could hear every chew, every swallow, every clink of the fork on the plate. Like I said, awkward.

"So, um... I guess we need to talk about a strategy." Our mentor, Sally, said, breaking the silence. I think this was the first time she had mentored anyone and she didn't look like she knew what she was doing. Hopefully she wouldn't screw up things.

Malaya and I put down our forks and looked at her. I didn't plan on doing anything she told us to do, I already had a full plan of my own, but I listened to her anyway.

"So, here's the plan. Step one, get good allies, that hunt will start tomorrow," she started numbering off her fingers. Not doing that, I thought, I plan on not having any allies, it'll be harder to hide with one.
"Step two," Sally continued to add fingers, "train well. Step three, when the games start, you need to be the hunter. Attack others and get their food and supplies. It's easier to fight someone alone than fighting for it in the blood bath at the conch horn." Again, not happening, I thought. Although I won't say anything to anyone here, the truth is, I can't take a life. I seriously can't, it's as simple as that. My plan is to get a good supply, find a good hide out, and just hang out there until all the killing has stopped.

Sally continued to ramble on about how to kill people and different strategies on how to get allies, but I just tuned her out. From the way she was talking, I'm guessing that she had joined a career gang at her time. "Do you got it?" she asked me at the end of her "lesson". I nodded, and when she looked away I smiled at the irony that I would never be doing any of these things anyway.

I hope I chose an OK mentor for us, justa

District 8 - Luce Avery (After the Chariot Ride)

Spoiler! :
Sorry, after typing this I just realized I wrote in first person. :( I promise this will be the ONLY and last time!

For a while there, I just lied in bed and listened to the sound of the wind breathing against my windowsill. The moonlight managed to seep through and it cast a warm, pale glow on my stomach. Alen had already gone to sleep and I'd feel like a horrible person if I went to wake him up just to calm my own nerves.

We needed allies and so far, we have none. The other districts skimmed over us without so much as a glance since 'textiles' didn't exactly scream out strength and power. The fear, panic and heavy doubted was digging a hole inside me, threatening to overwhelm me even before the actual games.

Whenever I start to scare myself with my own thoughts, I creep outside to the comforting arms of the night. This evening should be any different. I quietly wrapped myself in my blanket and tiptoed to the door, careful not to alert Alen or our overprotective mentor. I made my way down the carpet-covered hallway, following the gut feeling that would lead me to the outside.

The night was gorgeous with the sprinkle of stars that was still visible in the night. I found my way to the garden, a place filled with exotic plants and flowers with towering trees hiding in every corner. It was like a haven to me, a safe house-

"Who are you?" I called out, suddenly stiff. My muscles tensed up my stance defensive. Who the hell creeps around in the middle of the night without some sort of light (no irony intended)?

The shadow detatched itself from a giant oak...two shadows in fact. They walked steadily towards me and when the moon finally struck their faces, I let out a small gasp. I lowered my hands and relaxed myself.

"District 7, right?" I called out.
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade

Pffffft, yeah right...fat lot of help sour lemon juice would do. When life also throws me a bag of sugar, then we'll start talking.

Arrival/Dinner
Edur Stavajok
District 11, male tribute.

Edur ran up to a closing elavator and pressed and presssed the open door button. The doors slid open and everyone inside stared at him, he walked over and stood next to Kurr and Reed.
He stood there for a couple of seconds, before turning to face Kurr.
"So...." he said.
Kurr smiled, "Yes?"
"Um...Hi."
"Hello Edur, how are you?" Kurr asked politely, but in a mocking way.
"I'm...well. And you?"
"Meh."
Edur nodded, and turned to Reed,
"Don't ask," She said. "Aren't you supposed to be thequiet and shy guy, who NEVER talks?"
"Meh."
Kurr and Reed both chuckled, recevinvg looks from all the other tributes and mentors in the elevator. The doors slid open, revealing a long corridor of rooms, and Kurr and Reed stepped out into it. Edur followed behind, glancing at the doors, District 2 Male, District 3 Female, District 4 Male, District 5 female, and so on. He saw District 11 Male, and slid inside silently, and gaped up at the humongous bed and bed frame.
"Holy-" he said, before running up and jumping onto the bed, mud=rdered by pillows and sheets. He closed his eyes and thought about the Games to come.
He would be fine, he told himself. Only he knew that he was lying.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A knock on the door shook Edur awake, and he looked up from underneath his golden silk covers. It was Remilda, the District 11 Escort.
"Yeah?" Edur asked, annoyed.
"Dinners ready! Reed and Kurr are waiting for you in the dining room, they have a plan to help you two survive!"
Edur slumped out of his bed, and pulled on a shirt.
Then he dawdled to the giant, wooden door, and yanked it open, bracing himself, only he didn't know what for.
Spoiler! :
I never did post my photo of Edur:
Ryder - District 12
Ryder was silent for most of the dinner. Although his female counterpart was quite social-able. He tried to keep his calm, he wasn't feeling very well. Maybe he was catching a fever or a cold. All he know is that he didn't want to be sick in the games.
It wouldn't bode well for him if he died sick in the games. He needed to find allies soon. Maybe at the training center...
Des- District 10
They were all cramped inside the glass elevator for a while until the doors opened and tributes started leaving by district. Des and her counterpart were able to meet up with Ilija in their hallway. The capitol had a lavish dinner ready for them and the sick thought that they were fattening the tributes up couldn't help but cross Des' mind.
"So what happens tomorrow?" she ventured to ask.
"Training," Ilija answered gruffly.
The conversation stopped there and the rest of the evening was quiet. The capitol rep came to wake them all up the next morning.
Spoiler! :
Vampire, Jaden, can Reed be in your alliance?
Reed Willimon, District 11 Female Tribute
Reed sat at the long dinner table across from Kurr and Edur, and next to Remilda, the District escort. She took a sip of the creamy hot chocolate and the warmth filled her, before home-sickness settled in her heart. She set the mug down and sighed.
Kurr cleared his throat before announcing, "Every tribute needs a strategy," he started. "They need a plan as to how to play things. Edur, for example is strong and well built. He can be intimidating to the others, but only if he plays the part."
Reed giggled. "He can be a little scary at times."
Kurr and Remilda chuckled, and even Edur cracked a small smile.
"Edur," Kurr continued. "You have to seem like you know what you're doing at all times even if you're unsure of yourself, okay?"
The tribute nodded, and took a bite of his shrimp.
"Good. When in training, you need to lift some weights to appear even mightier. Do whatever you have to do to get that 'tough guy' reputation among the other Districts in the Training Center." Kurr gulped down his glass of water before going on, directing his attention to Reed. "And Reed, you've talked to me about your skills. I know you are a fairly good fighter, but you need to appear weak. You're small, and it will be easy for the others to buy." He paused. "Look like you're puny, Reed and pretend to be the opposite of what Edur is supposed to be."
Reed nodded, giving her best puppy dog eyes. "Like this?" She looked around uneasily, chewing her lip nervously.
Kurr smiled, and clapped his hands. "Very believable, Reed. Maybe people will forget about you until the end of the Hunger Games." He tore off a piece of his steak. "Do you two understand how to play this?"
Edur and Reed said, "Yes."
The girl took in a deep breath, ready for group training.
